It was nice ... 40 minute wait time though on a Thursday eve. Better than I remembered from the last time I ordered from there

Very good. Generous helpings, friendly service, 5 star food hygiene award. Spicy dishes were spicy but not excessive, fresh ginger was excellent. We'll be back.

Portions really small and not the greatest in taste, lack of competition in the village is the only thing that's keeping it going. This was my final visit here and will be travelling to Heacham from now on.... Very disappointing.

I suggest you call in your order because it is the only Chinese takeaway for miles and therefore very busy. I was kept waiting 50 minutes without so much as an apology. The food is disappointing to be honest. The curry dishes taste like a stodgy curry powder and flour mix with a few bits of veg or meat thrown in as an afterthought. The spare ribs have hardly any meat on them and anything battered is soggy.Noodles are a brown stodgy mess.If a decent Chinese takeaway opened nearby, they would soon lose all their customers. Sorry to be so negative but it’s a fair review.

Service was polite and quick.Food was very tasty. To my taste a little mildly seasoned but only if I'm being picky and nothing a dash of soy won't fix if (like me) you like your seasoning on the more robust side.Ribs were especially nice. Suggest asking for the sauce on the side rather than on the ribs. Tender, crispy and falling off the bone.Positive experience. Only occasionally at this neck of the woods but will be going back.

Just had the worst Chinese takeaway ever, I ordered Deep fried king prawns Chinese style and got prawn balls that were obviously bought in possibly frozen all dough and the oddest looking prawns I have ever seen. The order for sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style came as the driest excuse of chicken with a watered down sauce rice was tasteless. We aren't local and travelled a fair way to use this, never again, we have used it in the past and been satisfied but felt it is under different ownership. Won't be back. 80% went in the bin.

Great service but food was a disappointment. Chicken satay was very salty, prawn balls batter was very stodgy and heavy and didn't come with sweet and sour sauce. Real shame as I'd heard good reports locally.

Lotus House takeaway is definitely my favourite takeaway in the area.A friendly family run business where you are always welcomed with a smile and great customer service.Me and my family order take away from Lotus on a regular basis and can't complain.Simply quality food, short waits and the service is also top class. We haven't had a bad dish yet and look forward to our next take away, tomorrow!Thank you to the wonderful staff, chefs etc at lotus house for being a friendly take away as well as extremely tasty!
