It's a beautiful place, everyone was really lovely. The service was great and the food looked amazing. The only reason why I didn't give it 5stars is that the food is expensive especially the steaks.i think a lot of restaurants provide the same quality food for a bit less than its here. But the plates look beautiful and the food is lovely. Our waitress was so lovely, smiley and very kind

Perfect by all means. Staff polite and of service and the food very esquisit. Only puzzled with what it is a optional service charge of 10%. In London service charge is a norm no doubt but optional?

We were really looking forward to a nice Sunday roast at the Middleton. Unfortunately, the steakhouse had other plans. We decided to take the pre-set menu which included a starter, main & dessert. Although, we didn’t stay long enough for the dessert. The starter (prawn cocktail) didn’t have any sauce leaving it extremely dry. The main course was as warm as my ex-wife’s heart. Meat, Potatoes and the tiny portion of veg that wouldn’t feed a hamster, let alone a party of three, all consistently disappointing. Not to mention having no butter. No butter!? There’s a supermarket down the road! Needless to say shall not be returning. P.S urinal out of order & a loo full of p***

Out for me mums birthday. Tuesday night and its January, so you don't expect it to be busy and it wasn't. The food was OK but the price of drinks is really ridiculous!.. £4.35 for half a pint. a waiter with as much enthusiasm as someone who has just woken up...didn't need to care as tip inclusive in bill. No we would not go again

We received a lovely welcome when arriving for our New Years dinner at 19:45. The waiter was extremely friendly and helpful.A cosy place and we were shown to our table with enthusiasm. Quite a few items were off the menu as they had run out already. This was slightly disappointing as well as surprising. Drinks arrived quickly but had a 20 minute wait for starters and then after finishing them another 25 minute wait for mains. Was told the meat was resting but felt it had gone on vacation! 🤣 We were really ready for our dinner and would have had it without the resting. My veggie burger I ordered was underdone but I was offered for it to be cooked again or deducted from the bill. I opted for the latter. Good selection on the dessert menu but decided to stick with some strawberry ice cream which was very nice. We finally left the building at 22:00.Would we go again? Probably not. Mainly because of the distance to get there and the selection on the menu. The Middleton had a lovely atmosphere though and the staff are lovely.

Hubby is ceoliac so needs gluten free food. He had middletons grill without onion rings as can't eat them. We thought that they could have been substituted with tomatoes or mushrooms instead but wasn't offered. He had new potatoes as fries not suitable so was a little alarming that my bowl of fries arrived on his plate!Food was fine. Restaurant was cold, needed heating on as November now.10 percent service charge added to bill which we think is unnecessary when food is not cheap

Enjoyed my visit here. Staff where very kind and helpful. The Ale on tap was limited which is why I didn't give 5 stars. The car park is spacious and easily accessible if you're disabled. We took out 2 year old and a high chair was provided, with an activity book as well. We found the 3 course deal hard do decipher. Apart from this the steak was top quality and cooked to perfection.

On arrival staff were very welcoming with all covid precautions followed. Was seated by the window which was nice, plenty of light which created a relaxing atmosphere.Drinks were offered very quickly and I chose the totally tropical cocktail which was delicious with the right ratio of ingredients.Starter I went for the calamari which was cooked to perfection crispy and hot.Mains was the classic mixed grill medium rare for myself which I have to say was just right.Dessert happened to be banoffee pie which wasn't too sweet and a nice addition to the meal.Fairly priced, clean and welcomingOverall a really nice meal out.
