Old Marine Bar in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

To some a bit old fashioned, to others traditional. Either way the staff were friendly and helpful, not something you can assume these days. The menu was varied, but all honest dishes and reasonably priced. The food was tasty, nothing fancy, but that’s the point. We had a nice meal on a sunny Wednesday lunchtime. Well done for resisting the temptation to become a gastro pub.

Good food. Good prices. Staff welcoming. Old building not very accessible. Well worth a visit. Cod and Chips excellent !

Very disappointed. One woman running around doing it all, and the food was bloody awful. The pie looked like dog meat inside, and my microwaved lasagne was not the best . Overpriced and not good quality.

Had a lovely meal tonight in The Marine Bar Hunstanton. Definately recommend for very good food and value for money. Will visit again when in Hunstanton.

I've been here a few times now. I've never had a bad meal. It's an old traditional pub. If you're looking for one of these modern yuppy pubs this won't be for you. If you want traditional dining, with simple good food, cooked properly and a friendly atmosphere and very sensible prices for somewhere so near the beach. It's got all the meals you'll be looking for as well. I personally love the menu there's items on there that you just don't get in many pubs now. I like to try and go there when in Hunstanton. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place to stay right in the heart of everything , Great big room and bathroom and would love to stay again. Rachel was lovely and the other lady we had lovely breakfast in the bar and a few evening drinks and enjoyed the pub quiz. Only thing we could fault was the shower the glass door didnt open enough to get in and could of proved a problem if we had been there for longer but it did have bath. I would of given it 5 stars if it wasnt for the bar person saturday night we overheard him say " if they went the show should of stayed over there drinking " he may of not wanted to serve us but if we had not of been the show we would of been in the bar but We had tickets for the show after a battle with cancer it was well earned break for me and I think this was uncalled for as Business is business and he should of been glad of the custom.

New Year’s Day 2022 , good to see Hunstanton full of people enjoying the weather and like us many were enjoying the food and hospitality of the Old Marine . Even though they were really busy they kept the food flowing and all with a smile. Excellent food , great selection and ample portions , good value for money.Thoroughly recommend the Old Marine and we will be calling back next time we are in Hunstanton.

First time in there for many many years. Very impressed. Good selection on the menu but we just went for the fish and chips. Good sized portions and both chips and fish were beautifully cooked. Excellent value for money and good service. We would definitely go again.
