Stopped in on impulse and was not disappointed. Food was lovely well worth the cost. Staff were really friendly , couldn't do enough for us , will definitely return .

Had a wonderful weekend away. The staff and site was great. Would definitely recommend it.

We visited the Queen Victoria for a meal during a weekend stay at nearby Heacham. Although the dining area lacked a cosy atmosphere, the menu was ample as was the food. Our meal was all home cooked, really tasty and plenty of it. But what really made this a pub worth a review was the friendly and attentive staff. We were made to feel so very welcome in, what was essentially, a locals pub. Thank you. Highly recommended.

The food at this pub was Absolutely delicious and my plate was full. The meat was very well cooked. The chef should be congratulated for a splendid meal.

Had a steak meal on Thursday. Could not be more helpful or friendly. Good wine and great food.

Had a Christmas meal, (very large with a take-home offered) excellent beef wellington. Good selection of real ale.

A group of 14 had Xmas dinner at The Victoria. Slow service (small kitchen I understand) for such a large group. However, massive portions of good food. Xmas dinner with all the trimming was excellent. One has steak and another beef wellington all was excellent.

I just wanted to say this restaurant really saved the day when we came on sunday.We had booked for a meal for my mothers birthday actually at another hotel but were VERY dissapointed when presented with the menu to be told most of it was not available. My mother being 84 was unable to eat any of the remaining choices and we had to leave so were left needing a replacement. I can only say that it was a great find to come here as the food was delicious and the service extremley friendly and helpful. I shall certainly make this my first port of call for our next celebratery meal.Thankyou so very much for looking after us so well.

There was no breakfast - unlike the 'free breakfast' stated on the website, although the evening meals we had were very nice. The room was very neglected, holes in carpet, couldn't get the TV to work, rotting for at the bottom - you could see daylight through it! The en suite was very large but again in need of an upgrade, the whole tap moved when turned on and was very difficult to turn off which meant it was left running several times by accident. We won't be returning.
