Spice Garden in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

We stumbled upon this fab restaurant last night whilst unsuccessfully looking for a pub that served food on a Tuesday. We were tired and hungry and couldn’t believe our luck to discover it was a restaurant as well as a take-away. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and the food was delicious. This is our first visit to Heacham and we will definitely be returning to the Spice Garden on our next visit. Very good value for money too.

Ordered a takeaway, food was ready within 20 minutes and was fresh upon pick up. Sadly it lacked flavour. Have had many better Indian takeaways in the past.

We had a lovely family meal out. We chose a variety of dishes all very different and all delicious.

Friendly welcome and good service. Excellent, freshly cooked food and reasonably priced. Will happily eat there again, when we are next in the area.

I am mortified at my experience at this place. The table was sticky, the menus were stuck together they needed cleaning. Our food came out within 5 mins of ordering, all of the food was stone cold. When telling the waiter it was cold, he stuck his finger in the curry to check!! We ordered a different dish, whilst waiting for this we noticed long black hairs in the chips and rice. Absolutely horrific, I will never ever return.

After hearing such good reviews I treated my daughter ,mum,daughters partner and me for her birthday, my daughter ordered for me for 7pm meal arrived at 6pm before my daughter arrived. My dish chefs special with prawns,lamb and chicken had no prawns or chicken the meat that was there was tough as old boots! Prawn rogon Josh mum said was tasteless in general very disappointing.

Absolutely delicious meal last night . Freshly cooked. 4 of us had different curry's with rice and Nan bread. All were really good. Lovely friendly staff. Very reasonablely priced. Will be back next time we are in Heacham.

OK here we go, starters, tandoori chicken on the bone is what it was just bone I managed to get one slice of chicken and that was it. I did complain to which the waiter took it away. My partner had the butterfly prawn which was fine so I’d hoped things would improveChicken biryani Persian looked great however the meat was so chewy and dry it seemed it had been hanging around for weeks I again complained and to be fair they changed my dish to a meat Bhuna which again the meat seemed to have been dried out left then used again my partner chooses chicken korma looked great but was sooooooo dry it was inedible the only thing that looked and tasted was the plan Nan clearly cooked fresh.So if you are used to a good cooked Indian food, just have the veggie curry with Nan otherwise miss it worst Indian food I have ever eaten all the other reviews must be somewhere else. Shocking

Whilst holidaying in the Norfolk Hinstanton area we were searching for somewhere to enjoy a qood evening meal. We searched and found Spice Garden in Kings Lynn, a short drive from where we were staying . A quick phone call ensured we could get a table, arrived and then sat down and enjoyed, what I can only say, was a truly delicious Indian meal, spicy, tasty and downright good!! This was tied in with being served by a friendly, cheerful Jay, with another gent, (apologies for not getting name), checking with us throughout the evening that everything was OK, and followed by a cheery wave goodbye from the lady in the conservatory as we went to the car.If anyone is looking for a good Indian restaurant that serves good quality food then look.no further than Spice Garden. We certainly recommend it and when we come back up to this area we will be coming back.Thanks all at Spice Garden. Brilliant.

We had food from the buffet menu on a Sunday evening after a busy week. Lovely, relaxing meal with a good service and good food at a very reasonable cost. This was our first visit, but won’t be our last. They do takeaway service as well so no doubt we’ll be using that as well. Well worth a visit😁
