We called in as very local "steak and burger house" had ran out of Steak and Burgers..so drove down the road defalted and found thia gem. 1st impressions, the place looked empty and a little run down outside, (5pm) we walked in and was greeted with politeness and a table to accomodate 6.Staff were very friendly and accomodating even with a large family and baby. The food was exceptional. Good portions, good old fashioned home cooked food. Fantastic selection on Menu suitable for all ages.We were just local holiday makers but would recommend this over any other local restaurant. Will be holidaying here again and will be coming back.

A lovely setting for Mothering Sunday lunch with my family. Very impressed with the food and service provided. Attentive, friendly staff. Loved it all. Thanks very much. Table No 15 at 1.00pm today.

Disappointing. The restaurant is lovely, good service, good selection of beers and reasonable price. Chips were good but my fish was tasteless - wasn't cod or haddock... you literally couldn't taste anything... and my son's chilli was good but rice swimming in water. Pity and we won't bother again - sorry!

We had the vegan curry and naan bread and the vegan chocolate cake and ice cream for dessert and it was absolutely awesome. The staff are all so helpful and nice. I highly recommend this place and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. There were several vegan options and I'm looking forward to trying them all.

Great pub, lovely atmosphere and the food is great. Big portions. We were staying near by and visited 2 days in a row. Recomend the roast beef

Outside looks uninspiring from road but different inside and a neat little garden at rear. Lovely Sunday roast, great quality, well priced and good choice. Recommended.

We were in kings Lynn on a small break and drove past, phoned to book and we were so glad we did. the food was outstanding, I had the steak and ale pie, Mrs and daughter had turkey dinners and toddler had a small turkey dinner. my only regret was having a big starter, the starter was great, beef chilli nachos, but I wish I had more room for the pie, meat was so tasty and melted in the mouth in a rich and smooth ale gravy. the chips were cooked perfectly, soft and fluffy middle and crispy on the outside. I could go on the same about Sunday dinners too. We managed to squeeze in a piece of chocolate brownie which my Mrs and toddler shared, big thumbs up. just wish we lived closer to visit again. very happy with whole experience, staff were kind and welcoming and we were served quickly which is great for anyone with a toddler

Average place to eat with average tasting food. Nacho starter had some nacho chips but most were smashed and once you get into middle there's nothing left but mince and grease but tasted nice. Large gammon steak which was average tasting pub food nothing wrong. Was bombarded by fly's and had a some nasty comments off of another customer when not following arrows correctly. Staff seemed friendly and menu was small no doubt to the current situation but price wise / what there was to offer I recommend going down the road to Middleton's otherwise I nor disprove or recommend here it's just a place that you stop off and get food if you want pub food π€·
