Amazing home made food, pie and brownie delicous. Good beers and excellent service from friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Good meal,not too much choice on pensioners menu

A lovely old pub with original settles, all kept immacutely clean. Very nice, inexpensive food, presented well and excellent service. Elgoods beer very good too.

We went in for the pensioner's lunch. A choice of starter/lunch or lunch/dessert. Only a choice between fish and chips or liver and onions for mains but the fish and chips was OUT OF THIS WORLD the best we've had in a long, long time. The Apple crumble dessert was pretty good too. Can thoroughly recommend

We come here from Peterborough for the Only Fools And Motors car meets, the location is in a nice quiet area not far from thr A47, and even though we snacked on some cheesy chips, they were outstanding! I can't wait to try a full meal here one day and I will keep returning not just for the meets but for the food too. The staff are lovely and really engaging in a conversation with you as a customer too.

Booked a meal for two we choose the Sunday roast. We was asked if we wanted large or small we went large. if that was large I dread to think what the small was like. I feel like I've been robbed the veg was not even one portion. Would not recommend

Fantastic lunch yesterday, wonderful food. Lovely gardens, dog friendly. Glad this is our new local pub.

Because of present regulations we had to dine in the "dog house" but it was cosy and comfortable enough.The staff were polite and attentive and even though we arrived early we did not have to wait very long for the food to be served.The food was well cooked and plentiful and the desserts were delicious. With drinks the bill for the 3 of us came to less than £50.Next time we dine there we should be able to dine indoors, we are looking forwards to it, well done everyone.
