Great place to go for Sunday carvery (food is excellent) or just to have a drink. All staff extremely friendly and go out of their way to help .

Lovely cosy pub with a brilliant garden and just lovely feel. We stopped for some food and a drink and the owners couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Salt of the earth people made the experience. Thank you from Drew, Jen, and Darcey the spaniel, from Sudbury, Suffolk

It was 6.30pm we were hungry, in need of sustenance & were not disappointed.Parked bikes at the front, ordered a shandy at the bar asked for a table & were ushered into the frontage.Service was quick & accurate 🤣 even though our waitress was helping with prep. in the kitchen also. Food was hot & generous portions, no room for a sweet, for the dash back home with the setting sun behind us. Another good day was had by both.

What a great pub and restaurant. Had a fabulous roast dinner with a great choice of meat and vegetables. Lovely friendly staff and good parking

Food awful. Very slow service considering it was not at all busy. Will not be going back and do not recommend. The pub is supposed to be under new management. Unfortunately, they are just as bad as the last lot. Such a shame but hey ho. Plenty more pubs around with quality food and great service.

We had a lovely meal this evening, food was great, very friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend to those thinking of going. Will definitely be returning, thank you. 🙂

Found this pub while out and without booking for a carvery but the landlord was so lovely said it wasn't a problem and found us a lovely spot to eat our really yummy food, great staff, really lively and friendly atmosphere, would definitely visit again 😊

Booked late, after been told it was a good local place to go now the new owners are in. Arrived pub looks lovely. Quick drinks service, asked for kids menu drinks all good, asked for a menu for children to be told there isn’t one it’s carvery only. This was not great for us when your 5 year old is very 😭 we eat out a-lot never not had this option before we decided to stay our 5 year old just ate chicken and tried some beef, self service, but unfortunately over cooked roasts that were dry had been left a while I assume and undercooked stuffing over all cold and tasteless, with aunt Bessie’s Yorkshires. Three Horse Shoes is far nicer and far better value

Went for lunch Sunday.. Table bookedror1. 30..got table.. 15 mins later still waiting for our drinks order to be took.. Had to call a member of staff over to take our drinks order.. Who by the way had no idea what wines or ales they had... We went up and got our carvery.. All OK.. Apart from roast potatoes.. Hard as hell... We then placed our sweets order.. 30 mins later it arrived... Then just as we finished our sweets... We were asked to vacate our table... Well if we hadn't had to wait so long for drinks and our sweet.. We would have vacated table before 3..

personally i didn't think the 2 meals we got were very good the steak in my opinion i didn't think it was rump very thin to me steak ain't square had a really big piece off fat at one end ran out off ribeye steak some off the chips were a green colouring which it may indicate the presence of a toxin called solanine. i'm not saying it did it's just the fact the chips some were in green colour,the tomato and basil soup was fine but the bread was stale filling and very dry the the duck spring rolls very greasy the salmon why bake it still pink in places in the middle and some sought off grey jelly at the bottom not very nice according to my wife the toilet bin was over flowing and by the looks off it people where just throwing there used towels on the floor
