Very good food and menu options, and sensibly priced. Staff are polite and helpful. We were glad we booked for lunchtime as it quickly filled up. Will definitely be returning!

After passing by on many occasions decided to pop in for a drink... Wow, why haven't I been in earlier? Fantastic pub all staff really friendly including landlady whom was very engaging, drinks were spot on and food looked amazing. Will 100% be returning for food, drinks and good company. Our regular pub to go for food and drinks. Staff always friendly and we can rely on Marie to look after us. She’s always working hard and on shift when we’re there. Food very cheap and food quality

Had a lovely lunch, last time we visited was over four years ago. Staff very friendly, even though they were rushed off their feet. We had the chicken and rib combo highly recommended. Most importantly very dog 🐕 friendly.

Always been a good pub since about 1988. Not been in for a good few years. Recently refurbished and run by a couple who were regular customers in the 90's. Have done a brilliant job. Big restaurant area at back. Dog friendly. Good range of beer including doom bar and ghost ship

Less impressive than trip advisor would suggest. Reasonably good roast dinner, nice battered fish but portion sizes less than generous, especially with the Scampi. Service was a mixed bag, so e pleasant serving staff and one slightly snotty waitress. One meal mixed up in the order leading to a delay. Quite. A pleasant interior and a Riverside location which is equally, quite pleasant. I think. A little effort could really improve the experience offered here.

Had most wonderful lunch, a group of 10 of us, no problem.Service excellent, food amazing and I'm Celiac. I had a Prawn starter, great curry with poppadoms, rice, chutney delicious, finished if with meringue and fruit. Two Gin and Tonic of course😊I cannot recommend enough, and you can bring your caravan they have a campsite and offer B & B.

Best Sunday roast I’ve had so far. As a Canadian living in the Uk. I’ve traveled around and tried a lot. If you’re around the area I highly recommend it. Great staff. The place is super cozy. Food is superb. No complaints. You won’t regret a stop over.
