The Lamb and Flag Welney in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

This place located in tranquil village location next to river and Welney wildlife. We love it because its a dogs friendly family run local business and their back garden is an amazing. Sadly, food served only 12-2 and after 6 pm even on weekends and mother days. Other ways its perfect .

Food absolutely brilliant portions very large . Stayed overnight in room 6 very spacious lovely ensite breakfast amazing.

As I have said on many occasions this is an ideal pub at any time of year but especially in winter with the fire burning a good welcome good food with sometimes a local fishy surprise.They also serve two sizes of dishes for Sunday lunch.

Great beer good atmosphere but 2 burgers ringing in at £20 a bit strong

This was a great pub, we booked for lunch, thee was 9 of us with a baby and a dog and the waitress could not be more accommodating!! The food and drinks were excellent and I was especially impressed as somene who is dairy free that so much effort had been made to accommodate me, the treacle sponge and dairy free ice-cream was amazing

Proper, classic country pub with great food, beer, wine and really lovely staff.A group of 7 of us had a table booked for the end of lunch service but were running 15 minutes late (walk was longer than anticipated) we phoned to let them know and they couldn't have been better - will 100% be back.

Absolutely lovely. Proper country pub. Fire crackling in the hearth, cold beer, cold wine, great bar staff. Just had a couple of starters but will definitely return for a main course.

My sister and I stayed in the pub in a twin room with en-suite and the room was fantastic. We ate in the pub on Saturday evening and the food was excellent, breakfast on Sunday was plentiful with lots of choice. Gina, Dennis and their staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay the best it could be. Highly recommend, and will definitely return.

Stayed at the pub for three nights and had a few meal here. Firstly, the staff are amazing - especially the lady manager (I missed her name, sorry). She Made us feel really welcomed and at home; she and all the staff went above and beyond to look after and accommodate us. The hotel rooms are extremely reasonably priced, and although the facilities are basic, are extremely comfortable and functional. The breakfast was lovely, and extensive for the price - they also did a great veggie breakfast with veggie sausages (see photos, also I asked for the egg hard fried). The evening food was tasty and really good quality. They also have great vegetarian options. Would definitely recommend.
