For the past two years we have thoroughly enjoyed having our weekend coffee here. Lately though we have noticed that the standards are slipping. I have so many Flat whites this one is not looks like one of them . The girl was reluctant to help me

Only 3 highchairs when we went all of which were in use. OK cafe, had a jacket potato with three bean chilli, which was the only vegan option. No replacement for sour cream and needed a vegan butter/sunflower spread as was very dry. A sandwich option would be nice.

We had afternoon tea at the Lavender Lounge on Sunday 8th August. I booked by phone, the staff were very helpful when booking. Our daughter purchased a voucher for our Golden Wedding Anniversary almost two years ago. Due to Covid restrictions we never got round to using but the Lavender Lounge still honoured it, which was lovely. The tea was delicious, finger sandwiches, warm fruit scones with clotted cream and jam, various small cakes. And a never empty tea pot. The staff were lovely, very busy but still made time to check that we were satisfied with everything. We would recommend this place highly, but for afternoon or high tea you have to book at least 24 hours in advance. This place does get very busy, the restaurant has an extensive menu. If you manage to go there you will enjoy the experience, we did!

A variety of different food and drink on the menu suitable for all. I personally had a fruit scone and cuppa tea which where priced appropriately. Scone came with jam and cream; tea came with small biscuit. Indoor and outdoor seating available and quick service. There is also a lavender scone on the menu! Oooooooo!

A must visit when you come to the Hunstanton area. They sell lots of lavender based products from oils in the gift shop to scones in the tea shop. They also sell plants, obviously including different lavenders and garden ornaments. If you walk through the garden area and across the bridge there is a lovely garden area to wander around. There is also a farm shop selling local fruit, veg, meats and cheese amongst other things.Well worth a visit.

Plus plus plus. Only thing I got wrong is my timing. The lavender for most part had finished flowering.Having said that this venue delivers. Outdoor farm animals for the kids with indoor and outdoor play facilities.Great cafe serving good food and coffee et al. Farm shop with extensive range not to mention anything you want for indoors in your house.Good garden centre with excellent displays and wood land walk area. Hence the plus plus

Ok so it was really busy when we came here but the staff were quick to pounce on a dirty table to clean it for the next staff and that was great so we didn't have to wait long. There was a very good choice of meals and drinks for every taste.I ordered a jacket potatoe and it was a very good size for what you pay. I also got a mountain of cheese and coleslaw and the side salad was very tasty. So yes I would definitely go here when you come and visit.Fabulous 😊

Enjoyed visit, deeper the rain. It has grown into a major tourist attraction in the ten years since our last visit. Truly excellent cakes!

Loved this place! Beautiful day out and lovely lavender cake. Can't wait to have my kiddy so that I can bring him back to look at the animals!
