Shir service, supposed to be table service STILL but they don't come round. Waited 20mins, they were not busy and inside was empty so no excuse. Was always our favourite as pretty regular, but was very disappointed today.

Lovely room with a private balcony. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and just the right amount. The welcome from all the team was great and made us and our dog feel very at home. Great spot to stay for some lovely costal walks.

Disappointing meal. Starters were minuscule for extortionate prices. Atmosphere uncomfortable, decor dated. Only redeeming factor was the service. Not recommend

Tasty food, amazingly fast and friendly service. Nice cocktails. Only gripe would be the price.

We unfortunately had a disappointing meal here, despite the great service and what looked like a promising menu, especially for vegetarians. The food is overpriced for what it is. I ordered a plate of tomatoes and vegan cheese, which for £7.95 I would have expected the tomatoes to be flavoursome and delicious, but as they had been kept in the fridge and there was no flavour to be found, so I felt a bit cheated. My husband had the truffle spaghetti and the pasta was way over cooked and loaded with pepper for some reason, so fairly inedible. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere and very nice staff, shame about the food.

We stayed in the building of the old bakery which is a very short walk from the main building. The room was on the smaller side and not as nice as in the pictures but absolutely nothing to complain about. What really made our visit special was the restaurant. We had dinner as well as a Sunday roast and both impressed us. I have to say this must be one of the best restaurants we've tried in the UK. Every single dish was excellent - perfectly cooked and creative but not overcomplicated.

Really great. Fitted us in at the last minute and both the service and food were lovely. Looking forward to a future visit.

A lovely location and the food was really good - superb breakfast and evening meal was excellentHowever we stayed in room 4 which is very tired and in need of refurb (I am led to believe that is on the cards for 2022). And after a mix up with keys (we had to have the cleaners key due to room 4 key being mislaid) we had an unexpected visitor at 1am !! - letting himself into our room with his key which was given to him by mistake ! He should have been room 3 but a mistake was made earlier in the day. Disappointed with the owner/managers response to this, however the staff at breakfast time the following day were exceptionally apologetic and attentive. It was an honest mistake but could have been avoided with more attention to detail.Probably won’t return, may have nice to receive some incentive. Might be nice to see the refurb

Went to the OT to check out the menu while in Norfolk for a couple of days. Not really our sort of thing especially as the 'vegetarian' risotto had a parmesan crisp with it. As parmesan isn't ever veggie, either the risotto isn't veggie (I suspect there was also cheese in it) or it isn't parmesan. If the latter, let your customers know as that would actually be reassuring. Nice pint though :-) Bar area is definitely our favourite spot over the formal dining area behind.
