Lovely village pub! Great choice of local beers. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was pretty amazing. So good I seemed to want to Take lots of photos of it! This place is great as it delivers on all fronts.

Lovely pub, lovely menu. Staff were attentive and the food was fresh and flavoursome. Had hoped for more spaced apart tables - hasn't put me off returning at another time but will do so in off peak hours of the day.

Excellent unbooked lunch for four plus a baby. Very welcoming hostess and team. Excellent home cooked food - good quality ingredients; wide range of choices and a proper effort made to offer gluten free meals from the main menu. And not too dear. Would absolutely return if in area.

Stayed here for two nights. Lovely peaceful characterful old pub in a charming rural village setting. The room we stayed in was spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing. We also had dinner in the pub one evening and it was very good, katsu squid was fantastic. Bar has a good range of drinks, decent IPA which is always a bonus. Big thank you to Erin and the team for being so lovely and welcoming.

Absolutely amazing food! Top quality, great prices, great vegetarian options, desserts didn't disappoint (loved the espresso ice cream), service was amazing too! will definitely be back again!

We regularly walk our dog around Castle Acre and thought this time we would stop for lunch at The Ostrich. Proved to be an excellent decision. The food was lovely and staff really friendly. Absolutely no problem with our dog. We will be back.

Stopped by for Sunday lunch. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The building is gorgeous and in a nice setting. Food was great, will be coming back for sure.

Great local pub with open log burners, good food and ales.The only slight problem was that we were seated by the door on a cold night and inconsiderate customers kept leaving it open or worse holding conversations through it.Otherwise highly recommended

Loved the Ostrich. Excellent and friendly service, family atmosphere, cozy with the log burning stoves going. Really enjoyed the traditional shepherds pie with chunks of lamb and not mince. Great selection of burgers and vegetarian mains. If hearty comfort food is your thing pay the Ostrich a visit. You'll love it I'm sure.

Had a beautiful meal here this evening. Had seen them on social media and wanted to come when we were on holiday. Table booked easily, Willow, our dog, welcomed completely. Lovely staff and great food. Definitely a recommendation 😊
