Shown to our table and forgotten about! Had to ask for some drinks . Main course delivered to our table before our starters !Same main course brought back to the table after we eventually got our starters and eaten them. Plates were red hot, food was luke warm in the middle. Would not recommend.

An exceptional restaurant. We had an excellent lunch in very comfortable surroundings. Brilliant fast service and tempting well priced menu. Will definitely come again. )Dog friendly too!

Would recommend this nice country pub if visiting north Norfolk. Good food and friendly staff. Would also say good value for money. Nice selection from the main menu and specials board.Highly recommend having pudding here!! The Sticky Toffee pudding in particular is amazing! If ever in the area would definitely eat here again!

Service leaves a lot to be desired but the curry was very good. Table booked for partners birthday, someone took us to our table but we were not offered drinks and then had to ask and then had to try and grab someone's attention to order food and then were not offered another drink or desserts and no one checked how our meal was . So we went to the till to pay and was initially given wrong bill . Brought our experience to the attention of the owner who was apologetic but I don't think any action Will be taken . They really need a restaurant manager to take charge and oversee everything. The prices are quite high so the service needs to stand up to the prices , went to the other pub down the road for a drink and the service was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Fancy dies not mean excellent !!

Went for lunch. Was a short menu but plenty on it. Food nice but bar service very slow and the waitress forgot cutlery, even though asked 3 times.Good job can eat burgers with fingers!

Didn't stay here but it's my favourite place to eat. Never had a bad meal here and quite glad I don't live nearby as I'd be broke! The service is impeccable with very friendly staff and I really can't think of one fault.

Had our 1st evening meal there, last week. It was delicous, ordered from the specials board purely because of the fish dishes available that day & how hard it is to have a fish dish here on this part of the Norfolk Coast that isn't Battered! Opted for the herring starter followed by a mackerel main.. 10/10 absolutely delicous! 100% recommend you try here. So good I've booked to back in August for my birthday meal and I'm sure we'll have visited again, a few times before then.

Booked in and all is great so far, friendly, helpful staff and lovely rooms, lots of dogs for ours to socialise with. And a bar in the garden, what more can you ask for?Oh yes a great selection of food to play with the taste buds. After three nights giving us four days in the area the R&C was the perfect base to work from. The Staff made everything so pleasant, almost like staying with Family. The best bit was that there were loads of dogs 🐕 but the place was so clean and well looked after that if you are not a dog person, apart from seeing them you would not know they were there. But if you love 💘 your dog 🐕 there is loads of fun places to go.

We had a very pleasant evening, top notch food, drink and service. The thing that would have made it five stars was improving the seats. We sat on wooden chairs with no padding or shaping. Constantly slipping forwards and unable to relax. Glad to get up after two hours.

Gorgeous country pub. My partner and I had lunch here and it was just wonderful. We had the spinach and ricotta orzo and the chicken ham and leek pie and both were absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and lovely environment. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.
