The White Horse Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk
Where is The White Horse Restaurant?
🏠 Main Road, Brancaster Staithe, King's Lynn PE31 8BY
"The White Horse Inn is gloriously situated on the marshland coastline of North Norfolk at Brancaster Staithe, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with its big blue skies, spectacular sunsets and salty sea air. The coastline is a magical area to explore with breath-taking panoramic views across tidal marshes and endless sandy beaches. Our award-winning restaurant makes the most of shellfish from our village fisherman. Our sun-soaked restaurant and terrace overlook the lobster pots, oyster beds and saltmarshes out to Scolt Head Island and the sea beyond. In our Hotel we have 15 cool and comfortable bedrooms you can call home for your stay."

Upmarket restaurant and pub (and hotel). I had a great dinner here. It started with a very tasty shellfish bisque, followed by roasted halibut with new potatoes and a sauce of wild garlic. Portions are generous here, so I didn't manage a proper dessert and only had the very nice petty fours and coffee. Not a place for every day, but definitely worth going to for a special dinner. The place is very populair, so make sure to book well in advance. And like many pubs and restaurants in this part of the world, they are dog-friendly!

An excellent room. A very clean room.A very convenient room for ourselves and our dog. Hotel situated overlooking the salt marsh at Brancaster Staithes.Food good. However if you have dog you have to eat in the bar which isn't as good as as eating in the restaurant. That said an enjoyable stay with smashing staff.

Our first visit & really enjoyed our lunch as it was for my wife's birthday.Lobster was on the menu - she loved it.We arrived early so we're able to chose a table but booking probably essential as it got busy later on Friday.Car parking is limited even though there's lots of spaces5*

Took a chance to see if we could have lunch here today. The staff were lovely and managed to squeeze us in. We were not disappointed. The food was beautifully presented and totally tasty. The restaurant filled up quickly which is always a good sign. I would definitely recommend a visit here.

Went to this restaurant as a birthday treat, and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality of food and the attention given by bar and waiting team. Food was excellent quality and well presented. If you are looking for somewhere special then this is the place. My only criticism is the car park is very small and you may have to park elsewhere.

This is such a great place to come. They serve lovely food, lots of seafood unsurprisingly. Service is friendly and the setting is second to none. It is really busy at peak times, depending on what you are after this can be a slight negative (of course it's busy because it's great) also the prices are quite high.

Our daughter wanted her wedding reception at the White Horse on New Year's Eve. The White Horse went above and beyond to accommodate our requirements. Our guests praised the efficiency and friendliness if the staff. We were too may for a sit down meal so delicious "finger food" was served all night. We had a band and a disco and the dance floor was full until the early hours. Everyone had a great time and the place was cleaned up for breakfast the next day as if there had never been a party.

Today we enjoyed the most delicious meal in extremely comfortable surroundings served by very helpful pleasant staff. We had mistakenly arrived a day early for our booking but we were kindly accommodated and as it was my birthday we were treated to a little speciality. It has to be one of my favourite places to eat even though we are nearly 100 miles away.

It is absolutely outstanding in every single way possible. We were a party of 3 and just turned up for a late lunch without booking but it was 3’ish and I guess for dinner you would probably need to book. Anyway, we were accommodated and given the choice to either eat in the bar area (by a log fire) or the restaurant. We chose the restaurant overlooking the marshes. I have to say we were immediately made to feel extremely welcome. The service is OUTSTANDING!!! The food is OUTSTANDING!!! The surroundings are OUTSTANDING!!! I live 100 miles away and I would genuinely visit Brancaster just to go here for dinner!
