Its a nice place and was just what I was looking for for a night. The room was very clean and comfortable but does not come with its own bathroom but then I was in no need of that for just one night. But does have a nice communal bathroom and toilet. But their is no parking other in side street. But overall a nice place

Greeted with a friendly welcome, abundance of tasty food, good selection of beers, great staff.

Just moved to this area and after trying a fair few pubs in the area finally found a place I loved. Great pub, great beer, fantastically friendly locals who instantly made me feel at home and superb staff, never once had to wait for my next pint, has Karaoke on from 9.00pm on Fridays and Saturdays and on one visit had a great live group on a Sunday night. Finally they have food to die for... Cant recommend this place enough....

I visited this cozy pub a few years ago. The landlord was very kind and friendly, as he helped out this newbie foreign visitor with calling a cab and made me feel welcome even while waiting for said cab.On another visit I ordered beer battered cod with chips and it was heavenly.Place also offers karaoke, which I noted while passing the place by on a karaoke night.

Excellent food always top quality.Steak night is excellent great quality steak at great prices.Family run - all are very nice and friendly will make all feel welcome.It's a must visit

We visited Sunday lunchtime for a carvery lunch. The ambience & staff were good and the food looked great - I had roast pork & the others beef. The plates were cold and, although the meat was carved from a hot joint, it and the vegetables were cold in minutes. We were not asked whether everything was satisfactory and sadly I won't return.
