Nice lunchtime dinner, a bit pricey for the portion size, fast, good friendly service and clean.

Decided to have fish and chips. Wish I had got pot noodle instead. The chips were soggy rubbish, the curry sauce was tasteless, and the fish! Some-one had battered a small triangle of skin and then not only fried it but had charged full price for it. What a load of pricey rubbish. The batter was about an inch thick and was more like pork scratchings. Utterly dreadful.

We are staying in the area for a few days and asked for recommendations for fish /an chips .The owners we are renting of said we have heard all kind of things about this chip shop but never tried them .we were hungry arriving late .We were still hungry after buying two fish and chips ! Bin fodder !!£15 down the drain . Inedible .. fish full of bones , batter was a week old . Chips hard .Palm oil cooked no doubt .AVOID … bring a sandwich if travelling to the area and arriving late ..

Great fish and chips really tasty no soggy chips all nice and crispy. Cans are expensive but fish and chips are good and portions reasonable.

Food was okay. But ordered large battered sausage and large chips. Got charged for it and turned out to be a small battered sausage and very few chips in a box. If I wanted a kids meals I'd have ordered one.

Quite dreadful. The fish manages to be both over cooked on the outside yet undercooked on the inside. The chips are just tasteless greasy lumps. Moreover, if you’re looking for service with a smile- you won’t get one here. We went on a Friday evening and expected a queue- we were the only customers there and now I know why. Sorry to be so negative but it really is very poor indeed. Possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever been served.

Absolutely the worst ever fish and chips I've had the misfortune to experience. Chips were barely cooked and the fish was dried out and rubbery. The food was absolutely disgusting and barely warm. At least the bin got fed!

The staff are fantastic very accommodating! Food is best in area for take away. We have tried lots of diff ones. The fish is fresh and batter lovely. Chips are just right. Small.indoor seating area. Deff worth a stop
