Very quaint tea room with perhaps the poshest twee customer toilet I've ever known! Food was nice and the garden pleasant when sunny like on our visit. Had run out of a few items when we visited but what we did have was good (cheese scone, plain scone, brownie and a fudge). Service a little slow but not massively so.

This sadly will remain a unique visit to this tea-room. After what seemed like an age of waiting, our food arrived. The waitress rapidly managed to tip a whole jug of milk into my lap, and the only kind of 'apology' or 'compensation' was to offer me a napkin to clean myself, the table and the floor. She never returned to mop the floor so was left sitting in wet jeans, with my feet in a puddle of milk. The local tea room we normally visit in our home area would have certainly refunded the cost of the food, as well as seating us at an alternative table, whilst cleaning up HER mess. The scone was also exceptionally dry, resembling more of a wholemeal crusty roll. Certainly not an experience I wish to repeat!!

Lovely garden and tea. Nice looking sandwiches completely spoilt by very unpleasant, cheap tasting spread beneath the filling. Such a shame to ruin, what was, after all, not a cheap sandwich, with inferior ingredients.

Lovely cozy tea rooms situated in the historic village of Castle Rising. People normally say Norfolk is flat, well not this part!!!! The tea rooms offer exceptional quality food and drinks. All home made. In the summer it's lovely to sit outside and have a coffee/tea and a cake right through to a full roast dinner. All in all a lovely little hidden gem of a place!

Beautiful setting. Warm & friendly. Excellent food. Great Coffee. Only down comment, they need a better extraction system. The smell of cooking was quite strong in the actual rooms where we were sitting. There is also outdoor seating for the warmer days. Well worth a visit. 🙂

What a wonderful place! Extremely friendly staff, interior is full of character and the food is fresh and tastes locally made. My wife and I were nodding our enjoyment to each other all the way through!

Fresh cakes. Lovely savoury. Delightful location with a good garden. Professional staff.

·

Excellent spot with parking for my camper. Happy to charge my devices for an impromptu video interview. Staff brilliant, food brilliant, atmosphere brilliant.

One of the cutest most picturesque tearooms I've even seen! This is set in a beautiful little house which is covered in flowers, vines and trees. We had a gluten free afternoon tea on one of the benches in the garden. It wasn't too busy and there was plenty of space inside and outside. Definitely recommend a visit, just be mindful that the bees do gravitate towards the open jars of jam in the summertime

Walkable distance from Castle Rising itself, this is a nice and cosy tea room. It does serve more than just tea and cakes though! We enjoyed some lovely food, decently priced and very generous servings.Friendly staff, very quick service and very nice countryside stylings. Recommended!
