This is our go to fish and chip shop, fantastic quality fish, large meaty fish fillets with light delicate batter. First tried about two years ago and every time we’ve ordered we’ve never been disappointed

Been twice in a relatively short time. The fish is excellent quality, but the batter is light and crisp at the same time. Good food portions and really enjoyable. No. 1 fish and chips shop for us.

The customer service in here is excellent. Very friendly staff members and the food didn't take very long to arrive. The food was standard, fish cakes were nice but the cod and the chipd itself were slightly bland to my taste.

Changed my original review as they appear to have gone downhill. Today's large cod was tiny and very very greasy. Was not at all nice to eat. I questioned the size in the shop and was told it was a large. It wasn't! The chips were also not up to their normal standards. Last two times I have been left disappointed now. Shame. They used to be good.

Not my local but close to my mum's and I enjoy getting food from there very much. Extremely polite and friendly staff, good pricing and nice food. I highly recommend the burgers they are superb!

Another fantastic takeaway from Bushmead Fish Bar. The large cod was huge and fried without too much batter. Chips were just as they should be: golden brown & fluffy on the inside - a arge portion is really big & more than enough for two people, . I always phone my order through & it's ready for collection 15-20 mins later, which avoids the queueing & waiting about outside.The best fish & chips in Luton!

I have used this fish and chip bar right from when it first opened. Initially excellent, then a slight dip and back to excellent. I think the dip was due to changes in ownership/staff. The place is bright and clean with a no fuss counter and service. I tend to have my battered fish with the skin removed and this is no problem. Chip portions are large enough to share. Great quality fish, chips, sausages, or scampi. I can't comment on the other wide variety of products as I've not personally experienced them.
