We experienced a cancelled flight, so it was quite necessary to book a hotel near the airport. It's a clean basic hotel with a short walking distance from Luton Airport. Staff from the reception was very nice, even if we arrived early in the morning, around 10 am, we've got our room after we paid the early checking fare. Beds are confy, lighting is kind of poor, bathrooms are big - clean and have the amenities you need it. Despite close proximity to the airport, very little airplanes noise in the room.

Brilliant place so close to the airport. Unless you have trouble walking you do not need a taxi! When we arrived at the hotel we were a little confused as to where the reception was but don’t panic, you just go to the bar which doubles as a reception. I like it. The two bearded guys behind the bar were really cheery and doing a good double act. I can see what people mean about it having a hostel feel. It is very chilled and laid back. The rooms were great. We had a grand view of the planes taking off but despite this they didn’t keep us awake at all. In fact despite there being a lot of rooms there was no noise at all. Beds really comfortable and shower room really good.

Good, clean, basic hotel, within walking distance of the airport. Pleasant staff, reasonable pub style food. Rooms a bit small but adequate for an overnight stay before an early flight. Despite close proximity, very little aircraft noise.

Clean, comfortable room (the beds could do with better pillows).Easily reached on foot from the airport and five minutes on the shuttle bus from the train station. The check in/out process was smooth and the staff i dealt with friendly. It is an ideal venue for an overnight stay for late arrivals or early departures

Room was super clean. Breakfast had all the basics and the dining area was clean and easy to use next to reception. Reception service was super quick as both check-in and check-out happened in just a matter of seconds. Staff was polite and eager to offer help if needed. The only downside was that I was unable to use the bus service to Luton Parkway right opposite the hotel as even though there was a bus road label, there was no bus sign and no bus stopped in a twenty-minute interval.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights last week.Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.Only downside is they show they have an AIR CONDITIONER but it doesn't even work and they don't provide a fan when we requested it.They switch off the AIR CONDITIONER from their main switch board or something. We stayed a few months ago and the same thing happened then but that was in the winter so it didn't bother us as much. This time when we had the very hot week before half term. The room was extremely stuffy and the windows don't open much either so no help there. We had to ask for glass of ice every night cos the heat was unbearable. Now we are both sick and off work. This hotel was very convenient for us but we will have to look elsewhere for next time we are down.

Our stay was satisfactory. We checked in late at night, and this was kindly accommodated with no issues. I had one major complaint. I asked the gentleman behind the counter for directions to Luton Airport Parkway station, and specifically asked which bus we should catch. He strongly advised against the bus, and indicated instead that it was preferable to walk and gave us directions. Unbeknown to us, the route he suggested took us over two dual carriageways and a roundabout. At several points there was no footpath, meaning we were walking on a busy road with suitcases. This route is clearly not intended for pedestrians at all, is completely unsafe, and - I'm fairly sure - is illegal. As well as being irked that we took our lives into our hands at his behest, I am concerned that he will give the same terrible advice to some poor, unsuspecting tourists, and that someone will get hurt. Management needs to make it clear that staff should not under any circumstances recommend this route to its customers. Frankly, the bus is the obvious option.

Does the job, convenient for an early flight. Beds and duvets not super comfy, pillows quite flat, but room was clean and fine for a quick place to sleep one night. Lots of early noise from people leaving for early flights

Hotel Ibis was actually a life saver, as due to missing my flight it made so much more sense to stay overnight than to go back to London and drive back again. We spent about 5 hours there, the room was very warm and cosy, hot pleasant shower. The bed was very comfy and the staff were just great, especially the blond cute receptionist guy who sorted us out with an upgraded room.Lovely experience, would definitely use again if I have a very early flight ! It's just around the corner from Luton airport. You can even walk if you don't have luggage and by car or cab it's 5-6 min away.

Nice hotel next to the airport. The room wasn’t too big but it was a last minute booking and was just for 1 night. Highly recommended if you stay for one night. The bathroom is a bit small but as said I stayed just 1 night. The receptionist was so nice and polite. My flight got delayed and my checking ended up being past midnight, they were so nice about it. Definitely recommended.
