Chicken George in Luton

Drove over 40 minutes to get it since Google says open till 9pm got there for them to say you can only do click and collect till 5pm (too late) or order on just eat to outside their door.Website also down. Next time try making this clear so your customers don't waste time and petrol on the journey down for nothing

Ordered at a takeaway luton branch at the door..Food was fine..What's with not being allowed inside the shop?There's no covid restrictions..The lady who served was pleasant enough.She didn't wear no mask or even gloves to take my payment or hand me the Food.Furthermore..Two delivery drivers walked straight into the shop within inches of me ,again no mask or gloves..So why am I made to stand outside??..Tonight April 30th5.07 pm.Outside shop.5.07pmWe can't take you order.It's after 5You can order online for delivery.Um no thanks..I'll just go to one of the other three takeaways in less than 20 meters.How to lose customers..

I can’t explain how upset I am ! I’m going there to be told that no food collection after 5pm. You need to order via just eat ( by the way doesn’t deliver where I live , apparently I’m too far even if in Luton ) + the delivery price is ridiculous anyway

OMFG.....now my taste buds have just witnessed why there is a massive queue outside this shop....not 1, not 3...but 4 piece of chicken burger.... served with a smile. .

The food was great, the food is 5 stars. We had ribs & wings, so nice.The service was appalling thou, it's as if I should have been grateful to have been served, no thanks, no interaction, the silly thing was, they gave us no tissues etc ........... probably should have checked, but we didn't, but this should be expected. Considering you have to order outside the site, it's a strange set up, so I thought they would auto include, but they did not, really disappointing.

One of if not the greatest fried chicken in the UK! Staff are super helpful even when they were clearly busy and annoyed at the cheeky stunt I had to pull to overcome the fact that none of the delivery places delivered to our location in Luton and there was no actual collection service available. But handfuls the guy at the shop was initially annoyed but afterwards was an absolute legend Ince he knew why did what I'd I'd and understood that and made sure that we got fresh food. Great bunch of people who really go above and beyond with their service, Price is amazing for what you get. Honestly the place seems was so good that they need to branch out and get a spot or two in London. Food was lush and well worth the wait and drive to get. If you are in the area or not then make sure you check this place out its amazing. The hype is valid.

Literally the first time trying Chicken George. I’d heard about it for years and following the food review club on Facebook, with matt raving about how good it is, I thought it’s time to drive down and give it a try. That has to be the most disappointing food I can quite honestly think I have ever tried. The chicken pieces were dry. My chicken burger was dry and lacking any flavours to shout about and the chips were as plain tasting as they come (even adding the salt they gave, they were still awful) Maybe it was just a bad batch I was given… but an hour later I’m back home and stuck on the toilet with a bad bum. Not happy

The greatest fried chicken on Planet Earth! Staff are always super helpful even when they are busy (which is often) A great bunch of people who really go above and beyond with their service, Price is amazing for what you get. Honestly the place seems to good to be true, feels like I'm writing an ad here but its all true, Heaven is in Luton and st Peters name is George.

First time we have been here after many many many people telling us to go, we went bit too late as resturant was busy to sit but queue looked to go quick. We ordered and sat in takeaway bit and food was lovely. I'd recommend it all but the buffalo chicken wings were best part

Fantastic food, think I've tried each flavour of chicken and they all banging. I've only done delivery and it can be a wait getting your food as it's so popular but it's worth it. Would recommend ordering beforehand for a particular time so you don't have a long wait.The buffalo chicken with blue cheese dip 😍
