Had afternoon tea set out very nicely with a extra board with a mini selection of cakes. A good selection of teas to go with it.

Had afternoon tea here and it was fabulous! Located inside the tewinbury farm grounds and it is such a beautiful place with lovely pathroutes for walks to see the grounds.Recommend this place if you're in the area, so chilled and an overall great afternoon.

Lovely location just outside Tewin village. Enjoyed afternoon tea with friends which was very good. Staff were friendly though service was a little patchy from time to time.

Had a family evening out at the Cowshed last night, the best steaks we have had at a restaurant in years. Lucas the manager unobtrusively ensures every body is enjoying their meal / evening and all is going well, thank you we will definitely be back.

Our experiences here won’t be forgotten. The hanger steak was absolutely incredible as was their complimentary homemade bread and Parmesan and truffle cakes.We also enjoyed the service here. Waitresses were friendly and our wait times for food were minimal. They cook a mean breakfast here as well. You’ll love their Cumberland sausages, orange juice and coffee is you’re like me.Top marks all round.

We had an amazing dinner at the Cowshed last night. Three delicious courses presented beautifully and we enjoyed every single mouthful.George is an incredibly talented chef who, without a doubt is going to go far.The service was excellent, staff professional and friendly and we will definitley return.

Hidden gem in Herts. They use high quality ingredients and have friendly and professional staff. If you are not in a hurry and looking for a place with atmosphere, great food and service, you should try the Cowshed bar and restaurant. Highly recommended.

Aweful service, sneered at by staff for asking about food allergies. Couldn't cut the kids chicken goujons when they arrived, too over cooked. Disappointing as they are near by.
