Pepe's Fish & Chips in Luton

The staff were rude and the portions small compared to the previous owner when I asked for few more chips I was frowned on even though I said I would pay for the extra this was not the first time and I was not made to feel they value there customers someone who has been coming here for years and use pepe’s for some very large group orders in the excess of £400 + at a time it’s a shame but I will not and have not used or recommended Pepe’s to any of by friends and clients. Sorry never again.

Lovely place went in just before closing and thay gave us free food as it was the end of the night food was really nice

It's owned by a Bangladeshi. Looool what does a bengali know about fish n chips? Nothing racist about my comment. Its like asking a Spanish to cook u a curry. The taste won't ever be on point nor authentic.

Sadly not as good as used to be. More than a bit disappointed. Cod and chips, fish was dry and quite small for a "regular" piece. Chips were ok.

Had one price on the menu another in the window and another in the shop 😂 absolute joke when I mentioned was told it will be more expensive for you tommorow wow great service food was mediocre at best waste of money and was made to feel as small as the portion of chips I got won't be going again and you shouldn't either apparently won awards not with that management should be made to take the signs down just avoid. Update hairs on my food aswell Jesus Christ worst chip shop experience ever would not recommend or even mention again

Not a fish and chip shop anymore, bad Service and very rude forget ordering from just eat also, will wait 2 hours.

Usually very good food if have delivered always hot and on time. Would have given 5 stars if they did spam fritters.

Shocking! Food was so over cooked and dry. Quarter pounder came as 2 burgers in a bun. No salad, cheese or sauce. So disappointing. Now I know why I haven't had food from there for years! Mr Chips in Dunstable is so much nicer than this!

Some friends recommended a visit and I can see why! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, delicious and was prepared quickly and accurately whilst I was there. My fish of choice was not available at that moment in time, so an alternative was recommended - it was perfect. I would definitely visit again!

Had a delivery this evening It was awful not freshly cooked. Had i been in the shop i would have refused that piece of fish. The first picture shows the burnt edge and second one the base. It should have been golden brown not like this. No way should they be serving fish like this
