All I can say is, my god! As Sienna Miller says about Nandos - it's like chicken, chicken done in several ways... how can you mess that up? But this Pepe's does mess it up. The chicken was pink, I've been to the bathroom now more times than I care to recall. The order was wrong. The portions were small. Don't even get me started on the customer service... There is one girl that works there who completely baffles me. She is the least equipped to take orders. How she got a customer facing role is truly beyond me. It's like being served by a dementor. She ought to be guarding the gates of Azkaban. She takes your order but by the end of that monotone ordeal you feel like she's taken your soul. You leave feeling heavier, depressed and to add insult to injury with a potent dose of food poisoning. Never again!!

Had a gourmet burger, the burger tasted off with no flavour. I ended up going to the toilet to let it out, took me a couple of hours to clear it out my system the chicken looked low graded and dry. I used to visit them when I was small, changed standards since then disappointed won't be ordering here again.

Menu is wrong on just eat, so my friends didn’t get their meals despite choosing it before checkout. When I opened my food up I found that despite paying extra for large fries and a meal none of it was there. This is after waiting 20 minutes extra for my food for collection after the pickup time. 1 star is far too generous, unfortunately is the lowest I can give.Edit* horribly rude staff, didn’t even offer anything to say sorry after going back for my correct order, food is dry and tasteless, not worth a single penny spent on it, if you have no other choice, go hungry.

Wery bad place after the staff changed so stingy. the amount of French fries they give is ridiculous plus if you order a meal you don't get get any free sauce usually have to pay for it extra

I ordered lemon and herb and it’s never come like this, usually it’s nicely cooked and seasoned properly. The chicken was raw and the rice was undercooked. On numerous occasions you either give me the wrong order or give me poor quality food! This is disgusting and was thrown away!

Fantastic place. Cozy and warm until you step outside 🤣. Really tasty chicken and meals.

Bland tasteless chicken. Tasted like boiled chicken, no flavour whatsoever! The place is freezing I asked them if they could turn on the heating, they refused! The place was so cold my food went cold before I was halfway through! AVOID AT ALL COST!

If I can give 0 I would probably do that. Ordered 2large fries and got this, when we go there and ask they are saying they put it together. Not accepting their mistakes ,irresponsible staff. Never go with family.

My work colleagues insist on ordering from here but not being local to Luton, they don't understand how poor the quality of food is here.Just from the chicken you can tell is low grade. The portions are so tiny it's unreal! For this same price, you can get much better quality and almost double the portion from other places nearby.The mayo is watered down, the chilli sauce is just as bland. This place used to be decent in previous years but had now become almost inedible. The photo I've added shows you it's almost a child size portion and you could count the number of chips they give you.
