I'm only giving this 3 stars due to the length of time that the (very good) food took to be delivered by the (excellent) waitress who served us. As with so many other places, we found that the staff numbers simply couldnt keep up with the number of customers in that night. This should be taken as any reflection on the service we did receive which was excellent.

The restaurant was quiet but the service was really slow. There was no fish available which was a shame as that's what we wanted but we got other food. The food itself wasn't bad but we're asked for refills for our drinks and waited 20 minutes and eventually a different server got them. Waited at least another 15 minutes after we finished our mains to get dessert and they took an age to arrive. The delays added an extra hour to our meal experience. Based on this experience I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

My mother booked a table in advance and upon arrival - we had to stand in the waiting area for 10 minutes until we were seated. Service was very slow and we waited ages for our food to arrive. My mum ordered the calamari and it was served without the garlic mayonnaise. She asked for sauces that never arrived The calamari was oily and salty which made my mother feel sick - she ate it as she was starving. I ordered the Chicken goujons and it was oily and greasy and the batter tasted fishy. All in all the food was awful. We felt sorry for the staff as other diners complained about the food too. Do not recommend eating here as we were told the food was hit or miss. For the cost of the meal - you would have expected a better standard of food. I guess we were unlucky to come on a bad day. Not coming back to be honest. They need to get their staffing issues resolved and make sure that whoever is in the kitchen is able to prepare food that is edible and of a decent standard.

Although it was very busy, the staff were really friendly and helpful. I am gluten intolerant and they went out of their way to be helpful and to provide what I needed. We all enjoyed our meal and although I don't live in the area, would recommend it.

Food was nice for what you pay. They only had 1 waitress on and she was so busy but she done her best and managed to keep everything moving along. The manager could of helped her out a lot more. I had the steak and it was very tasty a lot better than I thought it be. For £9.99 I can't complain. Would visit again.

We were this evening, welcomed by an extremely polite & well presented young bar person, Andrew, who was very helpful & informative about food & drink available, as well as seating for dinner..we had booked the restaurant, but there was a table overlooking the patio with the sun going down & he assured us we could sit here for the meal also. Our order of T-Bone steak was cooked to perfection by the Chef, Georgia, & it was such a pleasure to eat, so tasty. Thank you all..we WILL be back!!

I ordered the calamari and it was pretty average and our pudding took a long time to be served. However I’m giving it 5 stars because of how lovely the bartender Georgette was, and helped us out loads with choosing drinks etc.I think they are understaffed.it’s worth noting you can bring your drinks back to the hotel room at the premier inn. And some food too.

The service was very good. Our waitress Gabriela was very pleasant and helpful and even managed to offer us a cheaper alternative. The dessert was out of stock and once again she offered an alternative off the Lunch Time menu...once again, at a cheaper price 😀 😉. Loved it here and will visit again. Food very hot 🔥.

Went for breakfast on Saturday morning it was busy which is always a good sign, but service was quick. Plenty of continental options and regularly restocked, and full English was great.

We arrived earlier than table booking slot so asked to wait in bar area as wouldn't be able to sit any earlier than booked time as they were still seating bookings from the earlier time slot. Finally seated 20 mins after booked time. Our server Megan, was fantastic and went above and beyond to help with queries of one of our party of 3. 2 opted for the Sunday roast and the query centered around the vegetarian alternative as 1 party member has an allergy to one of the main ingredients in that. An alternative option was found. Our order was taken but it then took another 45 minutes before it arrived along with huge apologies for the delay from our server. The Sunday roast was served on cold plates so didn't stay warm long enough to finish it, and the Brussels were raw. The kitchen also took another 20 minutes to send out our desserts after ordering them. We couldn't help but hear many complaints about waiting times and quality of food once served all around us. Sadly on this occasion the wonderful front of house server was badly let down everyone else.
