Such a good friendly pub, amazing food and fantastic staff

Awful! We had to wait for 2 hours for our food to be served!Nicky the manager’s attitude was really disgusting and rude. She even said “Not my problem!”. Staff was gobsmacked by her behaviour and even apologised on behalf of her.People were complaining that food wasn’t up to standard and the length of waiting. Most of our food arrived burnt!We would NOT recommend this place at all!Also we had to fought for weeks to get money back. Their responses were so insulting! My friends who paid by cash and had longer waiting time than me, they still refused to pay them back. Kept avoiding and ignoring her.I asked Nicky for her manager details so I can complain about her but she refused to give it to me as she knew that she did/said wrong things to us!

Nice food and drink, good friendly place for a meal. Climbing frame for the kids always keeps them entertained.

Poor food choice, incorrect items on plate had to be sent back and then when returned from the kitchen still missing, won't be going again.I've never had a steak pudding with crispy outer.

It's normally brilliant, staff are amazing and polite, only fault I had yesterday was they must of changed supplier for the steak. There wasn't any blood on my plate and it was rare ( which is what I asked for ) but no blood or flavour. Apart from that brilliant service

Great service and really good food at a great price - lovely friendly staff - can't fault them - this is the fourth time we have been in the last few weeks and every time is as good as the last

I visited the Hansom Cab for the first time in twenty years or more, I had a really enjoyable evening.I'd gone to watch the F1 which was on a huge screen overlooking the area with a pool table.The staff were really nice and the southern fried chicken burger was awesome and great value.There's a good choice on tap to accommodate pretty much anyone.I wont be leaving it another twenty years before I return.

Pub was quiet but it was a weekday & the kitchen was shut due to staff sickness which can't be helped. Nice to have gone in there & be served by friendly, smiley staff

Went there for my friends birthday meal, we had arranged that we would bring a cake to the pub for the end of our meal, we were greeted by a off shift member of staff, that said she would keep the cake aside as we were told that it couldn’t be kept behind the bar due to covid ruling, so we gave the cake to the member of staff, who was off duty and she then came over to Our table when the birthday people sat down and said very loudly “let me know when you want the cake and I’ll put the candles on for you” henceforth ruining the suprise for the 2 birthday people that we were celebrating.So firstly that was unprofessional and it was very bad customer service, secondly this annoyed the party as it was a surprise like most birthday cakes are.When the ladies of the parties wanted to go to the toilet, they had to use the disabled due to the ladies being out of action.Then we get to the meals, yes we had preordered as there was a big group of us. The plates were hot, and the food wasn’t. One of our party has a cinnamon allergy and was told that there’s nothing They be can do, the waitress that dealt with this just walked off didn’t say anything else;The people who were celebrating their birthday didn’t enjoy the meals due to the fact they were lukewarm and barely edible.A few of our younger eaters that accompanied us to the meal, went to the toilet, and was approached by a elderly man, wearing glasses sneering and making inappropriate gestures and comments to them because they were young females. This angered their mum, as this shouldn’t happened to anyones child.The customer service from Nicky was really professional the only thing about this place that was actually good was the service from Nicky.As for the rest of the service, and waiting from the staff Here is questionable and from this really bad experience I would not be attending again. Due to the diabolical atmosphere that we have receivedI will not recommend this pub for food to anyone. The tables weren’t clean either before we arrived.
