Westway Fish & Chips in Luton

Currently stood in westway chippy and what a bunch of lovely people the owner is amazing food is fantastic can't wait for next time thanks for a lovely meal

Always great value, it’s cooked to order not sitting on the cooked shelf, nice & easy to find & also the largest portions in the area for the money

Food is always good but don't forget anythingBecause the young lady on the phones is less then helpful. We accidentally forget to order a can of coke and offered to pay the driver which she said wasn't possible and instead asked to just add it on next order as we had order a few times before and knew we would after but that wasn't good enough she said we'd have to cancel our order and redo it which we couldn't for some reason. Really would of just made more business sense just to add the drink rather then give such bad service.

Just bought a large portion of chips and it wouldn't serve 3 people and cost £3.00,no wonder its not getting many customers.Bring back the previous owners.

Website misleadingly gives the impression gluten free is available any day (Thursday only before you waste a journey).Young girl behind the counter was lovely and apologetic, the chef only seemed bothered about locals.

So bitterley dissapointed. Read lovely reviews to have delivered cold chips rubbery and likely left over from lunchtime. Greasy batter on fish that was tasteless. Curry sauce that was so thick and cold you could stand a spoon up in. What happens when you call the manager. Get told they were cooked every 5 minutes. Of course they are and i,m related to the queen of England. At least have the decent to do something about. Disgusting.

I’ve been going to Westway for many years and the food has always been good. Ordered a delivery through Just Eat and was disappointed. I paid £7 for a kebab that barely had any chicken in it. If you want to differentiate kebab sizes then please give a large kebab option when ordering online. Chips have also gone down in quality a bit. You are a normally a 5 star takeaway, so please do better.

29/11/19 - As a frequent visitor to Westway, my local chippy, I’ve had no previous complaints. However this evening was different. Having asked for standard cod & chips what came out of the bag at home wasn’t. Chips? Lovely. Fish? Unsatisfactory! Literally a ‘cut’n shut’ with 2 large cod bites. Poor show Westway! 5/10 Please try harder.

Been here a few times since the new guys took over. Is now our go to chippy, even better than some of the better known ones. Went on Saturday. Had a kebab and wife had fish. Both agreed food was great. Service is really polite and they welcoming. Highly recommend. Well done guys

We booked fish and chips for our Messy Church team meeting at Stopsley Baptist Church last night. Great service from deciding on the order to booking it by phone, to delivering it to church still hot and all labelled up. So easy to deal with and the food was delicious. Thank you!
