Never tasted food like it absolutely amazing can’t believe how cheap is for 3 courses the food and staff are outstanding I’m making this my favourite restaurant ever worth travelling hour fromMe to get there the roast beef out this world not stopped talking about this place since eaten there twice in 2 weeks

Had cod and chips and three pints of Guinness, which was beautiful and was my sons lager..thank you.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The menu was quite varied, and prepared really well. Prices are reasonable. The garlic flavoured strawberry in the cheesecake was an interesting twist.

Had lovely lunch here today. Generous and perfectly cooked roast beef with good selection of fresh veg. The fresh skate was out of this world, cooked specially for my partner with new potatoes and salad, as she did not want chips. Very friendly staff and host most welcoming and helpful. Parking available. Disabled access and toilet. Bar behind bistro, ample outside seating with great views over the estuary, nice walking locally. Would highly recommend, will definitely return.Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Recently visited here with my family, as my parents live in the village. What a fantastic little spot. Cosy, yet comfortable. The team working there are all very friendly and you are made to feel relaxed as soon as you get there. Wide selection of beers on tap, very relaxing atmosphere (with the Blackwater only a few steps away).. I can definitely recommend the Lamb Burger! Will definitely be visiting regularly, as my parents have moved to the village and this definitely ticks all our boxes. See you soon guys!

The skate was just amazing!!! We ordered two portions each for me and my wife. Highly recommended. You do have to speak with the chef though to see what is fresh. Splendid
