Cabin Dairy in Maldon

Lovely little café right near the quayside. Refreshing drinks and well priced, generous portion of skin on fries.

Very poor service, for the second time in the last two visits the order was wrong or had food missing. This morning only got my wife's order, mine was not taken although it was definitely ordered at the window. Staff very apologetic and offered to do the order then but the idea of going out to breakfast together is that you eat together, by the time mine would have arrived my wife's breakfast would have been cold, especially as service was so slow, wasn't at a busy time either it was 8.00 and only four or five other customers. Won't be rushing back.

Me and my partner got a milkshake each at The Cabin Dairy which were both very nice!The negatives were that we had to wait a long time for the shakes to be made even though it wasn't that busy and it was very expensive - almost £10 for just 2 shakes.However the shakes were really tasty

Good food. A little pricey but worth it in my opinion. Located next to the river crouch. They also sell ice creams, milkshakes etc from a side window kiosk. Lots of outside seating in the summer but can get busy due to popularity.

Lovely friendly staff, food and drinks were good. Allowed us to take our time even though they were busy, which was good to see. Thank you - from the bikers.

What a fantastic little cafe for breakfast. The Full Monty was excellent and the choices for drinks and other breakfast meals was so good.The service from the waitress was really good and I left feel full and so happy.Well done.

Had a full English which was tasty. Staff friendly. Only bad point was the extremely slow service, even though it wasn’t all that busy. They decided to close the kitchen halfway through a service which left half of our group unable to order for nearly 45 minutes. The staff said that this was because the kitchen needed time to “catch up”, but it wasn’t even at full capacity. I’d suggest reducing tables outside if the kitchen is unable to keep up with it as it is - it’ll avoid disappointment for your patrons. Can’t fault the food, and although clearly stressed, the staff were truly very polite and helpful.
