Had a great evening here on Saturday, food and service was very good.Only thing that took the edge off the evening was the price of a pint. For me London prices for a beer in Maldon just doesn’t sit well.Apart from that all good.

What a fabulous place. Our first visit this evening. Lovely atmosphere and decoration. Very friendly staff and well cooked food. We had 5 tapas to share between 2 (all good size dishes.) Cocktails and desserts. The garlic prawns were absolutely delicious. Bit out of the way for us but will definitely be going back.

We had a delivery tonight first time trying cafe Brazil. Food arrived quickly, it was hot and it was absolutely delicious. Delivery driver was a happy person too. Will definitely order again and hope to visit in person.

Great restaurant! It looks tiny from outside but they got a lot more space, it looks lovely indoors. Staff were super nice and food is delicious. Really one of the best feijoadas I've had in England. Will definitely return.

Cafe Brazil is located in Maldon High Street in the older part of town, there are plain seating at the front and a covered garden to the rear, decorated with a live ivy wall. The food is original Brazilian, with a good selection of tapas most of which are from Brazil, ranging from £5 to £7 such as peri-peri galeto strips for £6. The Panelinha menu has a superb Feijoada a meat and beans stew served with sauteed lettuce, rice, matchsticks chips and spiced cavassa toppings, served in an original white and blue enamel pot, that's a lot of food. The frango churrasco at £15 is a spatchcocked chicken with peri-peri sauce very tasty with spiced chips. Service is both prompt and polite, local support is from South American and well travelled lovers of Brazil who return time after time for the real taste of a fantastic Brazilian restaurant.

Had a lovely meal at Cafe Brazil, it has a good atmosphere & is run by a family. The food was delicious. We shared tapas dishes for starters, the calamares were delicious, albondigas and the cheese bread balls were too. My husband had the picahna steak with fries and an egg and I had the fish and seafood curry. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

A warm welcome and friendly and attentive staff at this lovely family run business . Delicious Caipirinhas we had to try both the lime and passion fruit.Enjoyed my vegan burger complete with plantain and some nice other vegan options to try next time!
