Dante's in Maldon

Excellent experience, delicious food, the wine was brilliant, coffee was nice. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic service, will be returning I'm sure. Lots of gluten free options and was able to cater to two different sets of dietary requirements within our group.

Poor service and food nothing special. Pil pil prawns bland. Could have done with some chilli and garlic. Ravioli too much spice. Lamb nice and tender. But far too much strong basil and parmesan tapenade which destroyed the delicate taste of the peas and cougette. Peaches ok but would have been better griddled. Would not recommend.

It was cramped, the portions were small, and the charcuterie and cheese board had 2 cubes of cheeses and a single slice of prosciutto... For £17... I honestly don't recommend it.

The best kind of neighbourhood restaurant. Really friendly to our toddler. Food was well considered and imaginative. Everything fresh, you can rely on the recommendations. I’d return and recommend to others.

Amazing meal, absolutely top quality!

Fine dining in the heart of Maldon. Local Oysters. Seabass with saffron rissoto and (a touch of) wild garlic - superb! Dessert with coffee liqueur, Chantilly cream, pistachio ice cream - also exceptional. I can't recommend highly enough...

Very small portions, slow service and very pricey for what it is. The mackerel was the smallest main meal I have ever seen.

Stopped here for lunch on spur of the moment. Main courses - monkfish and pork belly were OK but underwhelming. The stand out was the Vienetta-inspired ice cream which my wife pronounced the creamiest ice cream she's ever eaten

Very accommodating restaurant that made space for us at last minute when we turned up with no reservation.Delicious food, great host and service. If we were local, we would definitely be returning and recommending to friends!

Super friendly staff and food is amazing. Oysters are one of the best i ever had 😋 would give 10 stars if possible 😊 interior its just a spot on 👌
