House of Delight in Maldon

The food here is very very tasty fresh and hot very polite friendly clean and tidy place the staff there are A******* definitely going bk to eat there thank you so much house of delight for having us and give us brilliant service

Very disappointed- went for lunch - ordered duck pancakes - duck ok but quite dry . Also ordered crispy chilli beef which really was awful! Hardly any chilli flavour and there was absolutely no beef ! It was just strips of batter ! Chicken dish was ok . Came here pre covid and had a decent meal . Sorry we will not be returning.

Had a takaway from House of Delights in Maldon. What a fab meal it was so tasty. Would definately recommend trying.

The best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to! I travel all the way from Surrey to eat here as it is that good. If you've never been, you are missing out. Owned and ran by the loveliest people too.

Easily the best Chinese restaurant visited now several times. The environment is well thought out, staff friendly and professional, always available to help. The owner is very attentive to all his customers. Food is incredibly tasty, lots of it and a good price for such good quality. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and it definitely delighted us. The food was piping hot and full of flavour.

Overview - The food was better than good but not wowing. We eat and enjoyed everything we had, and felt the price was fair for the quality of food. We would easily revisit this restaurant...........We hadn't booked and the restaurant was packed when my wife and I walked in but the management managed to find/make some space for both.We liked :Friendly staff.Nice atmosphere.The price for good sized set meal (We paid £24 each - this includes tea/coffee)Not feeling rushed. Our dinner taking about 2 1/2 hours. (Which we wanted on a night out without our children)The filter coffee.Not so good bits:Ordered drinks, only for the same waitress to ask us 5minutes later if we want to order any drink.If I wanted to split hairs I'd say the sirloin steak in the sizzling dish wasn't the best bit of steak, and was over cooked.
