The food here is amazing. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this pub, it also has a lovely view of the prom from the resturant. Well worth a visit.

Visited Maldon for the day and stopped off here for lunch.Lovely views of the boats and the river, friendly staff and was very impressed with the food.My partner ordered the pie of the day, whilst I went for the fish of the day; both were a 10/10.Great value for money and would definitely return.

It is a lovely venue, set up perfectly to take advantage of the great location. Professional staff and good food. The menu is quite simple but most will find something they like here.

Came in for lunch with friends (sat in the restaurant part in the back), ordered fish and chips. The food was perfect, extremely fresh fish (haddock that day) and obviously fresh oil and large portions. The service was attentive and friendly. Other dishes, like the pie of the day looked excellent (nobody at the table ordered it) with a very well cooked and risen puff pastry. Would recommend this place. The bathrooms were very clean and modern, nice views of the waterfront and old barges. Highly recommend this place.

We drove from Kent to Essex last night to meet our friends and we struggled to find a pub that was dog friendly where we could eat. Luckily, The Queen's Head allowed us and our pupstar in the bar section and we all enjoyed fish and chips. Our dog was a tad loud at moments but staff were great and meant we could sit in the warm and relax a bit. Thank you!!!

This is a nice pub to finish your costal walk. Being literally on the water front, it benefits a superb view. I can't vouch for the quality of the food but the service is good and beer is OK. I've been here before and I'll stop here again. Like I said, it's a nice spot.

Dog-friendly pub with a terrace on the waterfront with a view of the Thames Sailing Barges. Very covid safe with table service. Adnams ales on tap including alcohol free ghost ship - arguably the best no and low beer on the market. Didn't eat here, but attractive menu so will eat here next time.

Great pub with views over the river. Dog friendly for the beer garden only which is a nice touch. Cold and refreshing selection of beers with a good menu for food. This pub is a great pit stop for a nice day out at the promenade or if you are a local to the area this is a good contender
