Ruby's in Maldon

Always missing something, think they can rectify it by sending missing item 30mins later when rest of food will be cold. Happened umpteen times. The last particular order he said item wasn’t ordered and called us liars. Won’t be using again.

After ordering a takeaway whilst staying at friends who have religiously used these people for 16 years. We were informed that the current website we were ordering from was suddenly out of date. Surely If you google a business the website that comes up is current. they were not going to honor what they advertising. And Were extremely rude on telephone. Don't bother waiting your time.

We ordered from the website, but they would not honour what was on the menu. On the menu they said the Balti came with rice and a Nan, but when we asked, they said the website was “old” and it didn’t actually come with the others. They were not helpful, in fact they were rude and would rather we cancel our order! Don’t go here or order from their website! Shocking service

Misleading menu, be careful what you order. Expensive main course dishes listed as including rice and nans but they don't. Staff couldnt care and not bothered to help resolve issue. Obviously don't need the business!

Ordered few hours ago only just turned up without the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala I’m starving and disappointed and they failed to replace them after we told them they forgot a couple things

The food was good for a standard Indian Restaurant experience, I would say above average in fact.Prices fair, especially drinks.The interior of the restaurant was clean and the walls white but somewhat boring and lacking in character, with the occasional picture.The service was fine although the waiter a bit dour.Fine for a large group particularly or a group of four. Smaller numbers might need more of an Indian experience.

Delicious food, served by the most professional staff. The owner has a passion for his restaurant and welcomes all locals and visitors like me to his restaurant. I stayed at Five Lakes Resort and really fancied a curry and Rubys was a 4 minute drive. I ordered the prawn puree starters with requested some added spice at my request and for mains I had mix grill and lamb Korai. Honestly speaking the food was delicious and tasty authentic, the price was reasonable too. I fully reccomend this restaurant to anyone who loves a good curry. 5 stars!!!

Having recently moved into the area, I visited Ruby's for the first time a little while ago and have now had three takeaway meals in total.I have to say that I have had many Indian meals from a variety of restaurants but Ruby's is the best I've ever tasted.Each meal has been delicious. My husband also said it's the best Indian meal he's had.Looks like Ruby's has gained two new, regular customers.The food is excellent 👌We've not yet had a sit down meal in there, but we will.

first time used found the food very good and the waiter very helpful and charming however didn't like how the girl on her own behind the bar taking orders and trying to sort drinks was talked to found it a little to rude and also watching the delivery girl being barked at and having to open the door so she could leave whilst other members of staffed watched on. all this said would use again as the food was very good indeed maybe more staff would take the pressure off a little ?

Tonight was our second time at this restaurant, we visited previously in February of last year. We are not from the area so can only visit when we stay locally or we would be here way more often! As soon as we booked the hotel we knew where we would be coming for dinner. The food here is amazing and the staff are so lovely. I would recommend this restaurant to all! Thank you again for another fantastic evening.
