Sark Restaurant in Maldon

Me and my husband are moving to the area soon and we thought we would have a meal out and get to know the high street a little more! We booked a table at Sark and it didn’t disappoint.The restaurant was beautiful and very spacious!The food was delicious! Loads of meat!The wine was perfect and the service was amazing!Everyone was so polite and couldn’t do more for you!I am looking forward to going back!

Nice place with friendly staff.I had the swordfish which was amazing and highly recommended 👌. The mixed grill was also delicious along with everything else. Well worth travelling out of your way for. (Try the swordfish) 🤤

Excellent restaurant, great service and unbelievable food, would highly recommend. Cocktail bar upstairs. The decor is great very clean and a reasonable price. The only improvements would be the music from the bar is different to the music in the restaurant which is distracting and the tables are a squeeze to get in but overall a great restaurant

First visit to Maldon for years, what a busy town and Dark is a gem.Calamari starter, moussaka and beef shish kebab and a couple drinks. Meals are very large and tasty.

We had a lovely evening here last night. Fabulous cocktails followed by delicious food as always. However the reason I am leaving this review is I have to thank Hassan for doing a very kind deed last night. We had left the premises and waited for a very long time in the cold for a taxi. None came and none were available at any company we called. We went back in to ask if anyone knew of any other companies to try and he gave us a lift home!! Was no expecting this at all and was really very kind of him to save two damsels in distress! He also refused to take any money so I wanted to leave a nice review as a thank you at least. We’ve eaten here quite a few times and always had a lovely meal. Highly recommend Saak.

Went for my birthday meal. The food was amazing. The waitresses on duty on the evening of the 26th of Jan 2022 were phenomenal. Their service was brilliant and they were very accommodating of my 3 year old daughter. They even sang happy birthday. Thank you. We will definitely return.

Love this restaurant. Have been here once before. Food excellent. Servings are rather large but they are happy to box up your leftovers.Will definitely be using this restaurant again. Lunchtime prices are very, very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend this to everyone. The service is second to none as well. Go and see for yourself. You won't believe how terrific it is.

Had a lovely meal with friends. Service was quick. Food was lovely, so much to choose from. Easy to social distance and hand gel available as you enter the restaurant. The waiting staff were very helpful. Presentation of food was lovely and not a bad price for the food either. Really recommend a visit.

We had a lovely lunch this afternoon with excellent food and great service. The staff were kind and friendly and the portion sizes were great for the price. The chicken that I had was cooked perfectly and I was so impressed with their cocktail list as well - definitely wish it hadn't been a Sunday so I could have had more! Another massive plus for us was that they had Kunafa for dessert - we've been looking for this since we left the Middle East, and it's so nice to know that somewhere close by has it too. It was absolutely delicious! Beautiful venue and great location on the High Street - I recommend going to visit. :)
