Ship Inn in Maldon

My son and I visited on the off chance of getting a table on fathers day. We were happily found a table by extremely helpful staff. Cant praise the staff the decor the food and cleanliness more. Many people were in. Such a very pleasant experience. Just great!!!

Had sunday lunch which could have been better the gravy was congealed around the edge of the plate and the meat didn't have any flavour in it. I had three different meats and couldn't tell the difference. Will not be returning any time soon

Would have been 5 but the wait for our starters was an hour. The staff kept coming to apologise saying they had a big party in but in honesty they should have been ready for that as it was booked as was our table. Food was fantastic and large portion size. A lovely evening.

It was great went with friends we all enjoyed the meal and service . Two of us had the Brie and caramelised onion quiche and two had the home made lasagne. The coleslaw was nice and creamy and for over 50s a fab price. The ship was packed so very popular. I was so full I bought home dessert. Two of my friend had pecan roulade and black forest sundae, both of looked amazing .

Finally caught up with some friends whom we hadn't see for 2 years and booked a table here as recommended to us. The food was really great plenty to choose from and excellent amount.. The place was so lovely inside and out and tge staff were really friendly and accomadting. Definitely go again .Thankyou for a great evening

Really friendly service, and good quality food, in a beautiful environment. First meal out with my dad for about 3 years and we both had a great lunch, thanks to all. Highly recommended!

Came here with my family on Sunday, was busy which we took as a good sign. The food was lovely, huge portions and amazing desserts. So nice have booked again for new years day 😃
