Nice pub/hotel staff a bit unhelpful & disorganized

Lovely bar staff and good pub-grub. Friendly atmosphere.

Good honest accommodation at a reasonable price. Pub can be a bit noisy, but then you are staying above a pub. Dog friendly and friendly management and staff. Great full English breakfast. All served up in a characterful pub in a great location. Brief revisit for a drink only, 11/04/22, seems business as usual.

Lovely spot to have lunch outside right next to the river.Food was fairly basic but good.Service was quick and friendly.A bit of a locals pub inside who sat around the bar and seemed put out when you went in to order food, but nothing too sinister, just a few grunts.

Lovely pub right on the sea all looking over the river Crouch. Good quality food reasonably priced. Friendly service and also dog friendly location if you’ve decided to take advantage of the great walks along the sea wall . Beer prices are a little expensive but that doesn’t detract too much .

We popped in for a quick bite and were not disappointed. The sea bass was one of the best we've eaten in a long time. Shame it's not a main and only part of a sharing platter. That said it's worth having just for the sea bass alone. Service quick and efficient and we will be back again soon.
