The Balti Bhujon in Maldon

Some of the best Indian cuisine in the area. Great restaurant to visit and you can order take out with some amazing deals. Only one tiny downside is they do not deliver but if you go to collect you will not be disappointed.

I had a large family gathering and opted for a take away from the Balti Bhujon on the strength of its reviews. As this was a very large order I visited the restaurant and pre-paid in full for the following day.To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. The food was cold and had to be reheated. The sauces where thin and watery almost the consistency of soup. The onion Bhaji’s were small flat and flavourless. The meat in the mixed starter was hard,dry and overcooked,in fact it was inedible and most of it was put in the bin. The Cheese and Garlic Nan bread which I specifically asked for was ommited. This was possibly one of the worst Indian meals I have experienced.I did call and speak to the manager the following day and made my complaints to which he acknowledged but it was apparent from his replies that he would rather not be having this conversation.Very disappointed and underwhelmed and definitely not be going back.

Frozen simosa in mixed starter not ideal. No surprise from the waiter when we mentioned the issue. Maldon spice or Chutney house if you want a decent Indian in Maldon.

Our favourite Balti restaurant. Helpful friendly staff with delicious food.

Great food, clean place and nice biental lights

Really good food. The garlic naan is to die for. Have sat in for a meal and had a takeaway and both top notch. Very well decorated inside. Would say this is the best Indian I've had.
