The Mitre in Maldon

Called for supper n beer - very nice, good quality n sized dinner.

Value..responsive staff..grt selection of drinks and apperatives .The Mitre is our regular jaunt now.Lots of additional vegatables with the Sunday roast .Friendly smiling staff...lovely ambience.What more could you ask for..

Sarah, Martin and Tom are always very welcoming. The kids also love coming in for their hot chocolate after swimming lessons on a Saturday afternoon 👍

Excellent makeover. Would have liked sandwiches on the lunch menu in addition to wraps.

Great Christmas evening meal with our group on 11 th Dec '21. Busy and great atmosphere. Food was delicious. We will be back:)

Friendly staff but felt quite chaotic on Saturday evening. Pizza was very nice. Generous size so I bought some home.

Great outdoor space at the rear of the pub. Friendly service. Good choice of drinks. Very good food (burgers and pizzas mainly) if a little top-end on price. I will return.

Fantastic pizzas, mine was gluten free and I was really impressed. Good selection of beers, my father's favourite local ale was on and he commented that it was well kept. Lovely outdoor space, staff were very helpful and friendly. They had the Euro 2020 match on while we were there, seems like a nice spot to watch the football.

The Mitre has a good outside bar with plenty of tables & covering over the outside area. Well staffed & drinks & food served in good time. Not a major food menu but should find something that you like, friendly atmosphere

Had a table booked outside for a meal with friends, we didn't hold back on the ordering, 5 main meals, bottle of wine, champagne, cocktails. However the rude guy who was in charge of the back garden shouldn't be working there let alone in charge. We asked our server for some more drinks from the cocktail list, this guy came over and went "no more cocktails, we are far too bus with the football and just walked off" didn't even offer an alternate. After that we promptly paid our bill and left and found a better pub not so far away. The bill was £150 and if that is how they want to treat customers, I wont be back and would rather spend my money elsewhere.
