The Waffle Bar in Maldon

A ‘fabulously delicious’😁 little place!!! Visited over half term with my LO and weren’t disappointed,I’ll let the pictures do the ‘talking’, good service & really nice staff.

So sorry this review has been a long time coming as I have been here 3 times now! First time I came here with some girlfriends and we have an absolutely indulgent treat. I have a terrys chocolate orange that you can see in the picture. What I really love about this place that sets itself apart from other waffle places is the fact that it does also cater to people who don't always have a sweet tooth such as my husband who usually goes for their lovely toasties. Food is absolutely divine, really good price for what you get. Friendly service and never had to wait long here. Would highly recommend!

10/10!- number one recommendation is the toasted sandwiches! great value for the taste and quality. also comes with a side of crisps and salad. i’ve tried a whole variety of fillings and none disappoint.- waffles are delicious, i would say better than the pancakes.- milkshakes are huge and have lots of toppings / whipped cream. paper straws are a bonus for the environment. can be sickly though if you have too much!- afternoon tea is amazing here ! great value for the quantity you get. Lots of selection including mini waffles and toasted sandwiches (of your choice). bottomless tea! definitely wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for afternoon tea.

The waffles were nice, however we felt like we’re a burden to the owner as she wasn’t overly friendly. We had to keep asking for simple things like cutlery, or to even order. Then she would speak to the waitress about our bill, orders etc like we wasn’t there. Felt quite unprofessional.However the waffles were good and the kids enjoyed it.

Lovely friendly staff in an inviting environment and a fabulous menu including gluten free and vegan which is rare in similar establishments. The food was amazing!! We would 100% recommend and will 100% return 😁 x

A wonderful little waffle bar! We had a valentines lunch here and enjoyed every part of it. The waffles were delicious and there were so many types to choose from. The milkshakes were amazing. Would highly recommend and will be going back!

The most amazing dessert I’ve had ever! What a treat in a beautifully created restaurant! Every detail into creating the waffle bar has been well thought out, designed and executed. A pretty spot to have a treat with friendly staff!

Definitely worth a visit or two, home made waffles with a menu to please everyone. You won't leave hungry, very welcoming, set in a nice local shop with plenty of character. Staff and owner really nice, its also great to support local business where possible.

Fantastic waffles and milkshakes! We've tried savoury, sweet and vegan waffles plus the loaded milkshakes from here and all of them were to die for 👌 Nice, friendly service and good location not far from the park. We're currently getting through the 3rd lock down with a weekly takeaway treat which is proving to be the highlight of the week.
