Lovely clean room, great hosts and nice food. Very good price too, will stay again

Visited last weekend for a quick drink after a family outing - staff was super friendly and we said we needed to return. We went back this afternoon as a family and John and his staff were lovely. Food was amazing, home cooked and large portions. Would highly recommend visiting. We can’t wait to return for a Sunday roast. We have heard great things :)

Nice pub in Maldon High Street. Didn't eat but what food was served looked nice. £6 for a large glass of wine reasonably priced.

Had lunch here today, food wast first class and service was polite and friendly. I would genuinely recommend eating here.

Great evening catching up with a friend. Bar staff very helpful and welcoming. Great menu on offer too - I will be back!

Popped in with a mini bus crowd from my youtube channel tour, 'lifeofjohn' after our visit to a local brewery. Never been before, but we'll be back. Really lovely pub, helped by the great staff and really pleasant landlord who looked after us and had a bit of banter with us. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommended. Cheers.

John and his team were very hospitable. Nice clean and fresh smelling rooms with duvets that were the talk of the breakfast tables and speaking of breakfast that was lovely too, looking forward to coming back again.

Nice atmosphere, good food reasonably priced and super friendly staff. Our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. Recommended!!

A extremely warm welcome by John and his staff. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting. The premises was clean and bright. The roast beef was freshly cooked with all fresh ingredients. Yummy. Definitely will return to try there mid-week food and enjoy some local entertainment.

Excellent Sunday lunch today and only 200 yards from home, so able to be back in time to see the Hammers on TV. Fabulous roast lamb and baked potatoes.
