Of all the Chinese takeaway's in Ipswich, this one is by far the best, and practically on par with China Town in London.

Overall it is a nice Chinese takeaway and fish bar but a couple of times it has been closed when it should of been open with no explanation. Maybe they should have a website so they can let people know. Other than that they are very friendly, reasonably priced and very flavoursome.

Let me start by saying the lady that works there is lovely and very friendly, this cannot be said for the owners. I purchased the Family meal deal 2 x reg cod, 2 x sausage , a FAMILY portion of chips and a curry sauce for £14.On arrival home I opened the bag up to find what I would describe as a small portion of chips. I called the lovely lady and showed her. The manager was the lady who did my order and assured me It was a LARGE portion. The meal deal says FAMILY portion which I assumed was bigger than a large otherwise it should just say large. It wasn’t enough for one person let alone four.Whilst waiting, I worked out the meal deal is actually more expensive than buying everything individually if it is a large chips and pointed this out, she was then rude abrupt that I had worked it out.Sounds abit petty but by the time I got home the fish was cold. I won’t go back.

Got home after a full days manual labour, wanted fish and chips so we called here as its local.Chips overcooked, dark brown colour, rubbery fish with no flavour.Didn't eat it, went straight in the bin and called a proper chip shop.Ordered here a few times over the years and it can be hit and miss so will not be ordering again.

Our first time but it definitely won't be our last time. Great flavour, decent portions, good price and friendly service - what more would I want? King prawn with ginger and spring onions was especially good, as were the vegetarian vermicelli noodles. The crispy duck was tender and wonderful. We will return, perhaps to see if the fish and chips are as good...

Ordered a Chinese Takeaway and given a time to arrive,it was ready at the time.Very friendly service.The Chinese was nice,we often get our Fish & Chips from here and enjoy those as well,never had a problem

We've been going here for fish and chips for a long while. Fish is always cooked fresh while you wait. Very good value and very tasty. Can't comment on the Chinese takeaway.
