By far the best pastry I have ever had in a steak and ale pie. Kept going on about it all through the meal. No soggy bottoms at the Chestnut Horse.Staff are Lovely and congrats to Sharon for what she has achieved with this local pub/restaurant.

Taken here by friends who had been once before. Really good pub with with friendly staff. Food was first class with excellent steaks.

Went to the pub's Burn's Night on Saturday. It was really fabulous, great food and such fun. The staff are lovely. Will definitely be going back.

My daughter moved into her new house in the village yesterday and we ordered off the takeaway menu. Both vegetable lasagne and scampi and chips were delicious. Neatly packaged well presented. What a gem this pub is.Lovely setting. Will definitely be the first of many visits and thoroughly recommend it.
