A charming 15th century pub that is community owned and fully deserving of good custom, definitely recommend popping in - only had a few beers but they were well kept local options such as Earl Soham

An impressive building from the outside but inside much of the character has been lost as it has been modernised but nevertheless still interesting architecture. As the result of good write ups we thought we would have an evening meal so we could form our own opinions.The menu wasn't particularly large but the dishes we choose were well prepared and presented and importantly enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant and attentive ensuring all our needs were catered for. A pleasant evening particularly as there was no loud noise something we seem to be sensitive to.

Great place, really prepared for COVID. Lovely outdoor space, flowers and decorations, big car park. Coming again for sure!!

Very cool community pub. Lovely outdoor eating areas. Delicious food. Not quite on top of the vegan offering - run out of vegan ice cream and unsure about alternative milk options but tried their best and were as helpful as possible.

Went for some drinks on Saturday night. Atmosphere was great with a well sheltered and heated outdoor area to allow for social distancing. The food looked very good, so we'll definitely be eating next time.

Excellent from the booking system to space between tables and outdoor setting with snuggly blankets to ward off evening chill. The welcome was cordial and courteous. Fair range of food with good portion size and served piping hot. Wide range of drinks.Definitely recommend for a place to eat out.
