Happy House in Mid Suffolk

Lived in Halesworth for 9 months and have no idea why we haven't had a take away from Happy House!!! First time tonight - delicious food, piping hot, good portion size, not overly priced and a very polite delivery driver aswell!! Absolutely brilliant. This will not be our last time. Thank you.

Usually order all the time from here no problems which is why this is getting a 3 stars, but my order today wasn't the best, there was so much poo inside of my shrimps, it was unbearable, half of the shrimp looked like it had been devained but there was so much in the others.. not good very offputting

Lovely Chinese! Always tastes amazing. The owner is lovely and very generous too! Deliver to your door, perfect!

Really good.Recently moved to Halesworth and placed our first order with Happy House tonight, very impressed. Glad to have a found a good Chinese so close to the house. Delivery was on time, food was piping hot and portions very generous. Chicken Balls are absolutely lovely.Will be using again and highly recommend.

Food is great people all kind who work there only problem is line always seems to be busy

Ordered my favourite one, beef chow mein.. positively surprised about the taste and taste balance... Reason for 4 starts is the lady at the till need to be less miserable

Food is very good, service is quick. Quite and extensive menu as well. Particularly liked the satay special they do. Cash only so be prepared!

Food is terrible. The oil they used made everything taste bad. Chicken balls went straight in the bin. They were burnt on the outside with mush in the inside. The sweet and sour sauce was black and the curry sauce I can't even describe what that is like. The person that answered on the phone was not happy at all. Barely knew where I had called. Avoid at all costs. Stick to the Golden House. Only tried this place as on Monday as they are shut. Never again!

Delivery made at requested time and food was hot enough but.........food lacked taste, sweet and sour sauce was weak, batter on sweet and sour prawns was far too thick and prawn curry was not a good flavour and again was weak. Would not use again. Disappointing meal.

Great place. Always strive for quality and satisfaction. Even after the driver mistook my house and left. And almost a hour later near closing they not only rush our food but also get it delivered quickly and the food is still as perfect as always.
