One of the best Little Chefs i have been to. Food was great, Staff were friendly and served quickly. One feature about this place is it had parking available for caravans which is something very few Little Chefs had. Shame it has closed down.

The restaurant area was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious, but unfortunately the toilets were in need of a paint up and a big of TCL.

Possibly the most depressing place I have ever been in my life!I wasn't expecting much from a little chef so to be disappointed takes a lot.First impressions being when asking the waitress how she was being replied with "I'll be great when I get out of here" and after ten minutes I couldn't have agreed more with her.Absolutely filthy restaurant with every single thing being sticky to the touch, disgusting food and dire service...simply get a Costa coffee from shell next door and keep driving, do not stop here

Absolutely disgraceful. The waitress who served was rude. When we wanted to eat some food she said that they didn't have anything on th menu that we wanted. She was getting impatient when we didn't want to get next.I ordered a normal Pepsi and she gave me a Diet Pepsi when I went up she was trying to prove me wrong and say that she did give me a normal Pepsi and it clearly wasn't.I when our food came she slammed it down onto the table which was sticky and looked like it hadn't been cleaned.Throughout our visit my family was continuously given dirty looks by the staff and was felt to make intimidated.Overall I would definitely not recommend anyone to stop in little chef in this service station your better off just waiting. The worst experience I had ever had.

One of the most dreary, cold, dank places I have, been, wasn't expecting 4 star hospitality at a little chef, but how difficult is it to make it even look open? The window boxes had dead plants in them, it was colder inside than out, and the toilets smelt damp and musty, we should have moved on really. Would not recommend.

Bank holiday weekend at a service station and the manager has the minimal no of staff on. What a bone head! The burgers looked like they were found from round the back, I've been in better toilets in the middle of India, and to top it off I saw the manager and she didn't give a monkeys. She saw the cue of people and just waddled off to the back office. The only positive were her staff. Somehow they managed not to look grumpy under the stress. So to conclude... Sack the manager and get a mcdonalds in there.

Inexcusable standards inside and out , NOT staff related. The staff and team were friendly and professional doing there best in a sub standard tired premise that's in dire need of modernization and renovation. Area and Senior mangers of Burger King need to respond and take action to urgent issues at this site.

Went there with my wife and son.I would say there is nothing special about this - but then you get what you expect from a Little Chef!!Food menu has not been changed for a while - but offered a good variety of choice - something for most people in the family,.Service was adequate - though my son ordered a side order which did not come till prompted. Staff were pleasant and friendly - though I thought there was some understaffing which could have speed things up a bit.Overall, reasonable for a end to our holiday.

Took just over half an hour for 2 chicken and chips and one Olympian breakfast to arrive for the 3 of us, by which time my coffee was cold. Reliably informed that this was because the chef had turned up with a hangover and been torn off a strip by the manager (and had water thrown over him apparently in her rage), and they were running behind. We had done a lot of driving and this was a rare lapse in service as we have been here before, though did overhear another customer complaining about the food. We wolfed ours down being hungry after the long wait and all 3 meals were ok. It was a Sunday, place barely a third full. Did receive a small discount and apology from whoever was running the place. The toilets are in need of a good clean, and the pot holes leading into this service station will rattle your spine. Other than that - what you expect.Seems to me they need more people trained on cooking so there's cover for when staff are sick, and an organised rota of who does what jobs, as everyone was running around doing everything rather than there being some sort of structure or specific role-tasks. Just an observation.

Always looks tired and dirty. Belongs in the 1980s. Today they didnt even have any burger and all we could have was Chicken because their cooker was being "serviced". Never heard such a load of old toff. Why not get it done when the place is shut rather then inconvenience your customers? Needless to say, the manager was cowering round the back and had left a poor teenage kid to take the flack from disgruntled customers. BK are always more expensive then McDonalds and always on the grab for your money only to leave you waiting ages for your food.
