Needham Chippy in Mid Suffolk

Great fish & chips freshly cooked!

Stopped on the off chance and throughly enjoyed our cod & chips. We will be using Needham Vhippy again

Will not return, chips were disgusting were not fresh at all, saveloys were falling apart and they don't sell butties also found them to be very expensive, disappointing

I should have read the reviews but thought how could I go wrong with fish and chips?Never got to taste the food as the owner offered me outside for a fight because I was surprised they had no gravy or curry ( I know that sounds unbelievable but it is honestly true).I left my food, after paying £10 and was abused ( I had my 6 year old daughter with me ) being called a druggie!! I am a 44 year old business owner and certainly not what he screamed I am.When he was screaming at me I smelt a strong whiff of alcohol so possibly this is that reason for the numerous bad reviews regarding his behaviour and attitude.I cannot believe what just happened.

Food is not that bad however such high words can't be said about the owner. The short time I spent waiting in the queue he snapped at a mother and young daughter, told two people they couldn't wait inside without wearing a mask (exempt or not) whilst not wearing a mask himself and got in a flap because the fishcakes would take half hour to cook so that customer had to go home and come back. Nothing was cooked and kept under the hot light which may have prevented that little outburst. I would rather walk a little further up the road next time.

The owner attitude stinks, he insists everyone wears masks, get that but he doesn’t.The food is good but he is so rude I’d rather walk all the way up the high street in the freezing cold than go there.Asked if I could have a large cod cooked tonight, pay upfront as he was very busy and come back in 5 mins, just got abuse from him.How he is still going I don’t know as this is not the first review about his attitude.

Excellent fish and chips, curry sauce not to bad either. Friendly, helpful staff. We pr-order and always on time. All I can say is “Just perfect they way they are” 😊 thank you Needham Chippy another excellent meal I didn’t have to cook 😊

Good size portions cooked fresh that does mean you have to wait though.I prefer the taste of the oil my local chippy uses but that's just me

The owner is very rude .He doesn't want to cook beyond 6.45pm and he starts clearing up before 7 but the opening hours state they're open until 8pm. He just wants to sell what he's already cooked and take no more orders.He's bitten my sons head off in front of other customers one too many times and we were regular customers .Won't be going back ..

Well I must say that it's the best fish and chips by a mileUnbelievable, what a pleasure to eat.Everyone must try this chippy
