The food is lovely but there’s one member we of staff who is quite rude and made us feel uncomfortable. So probably won’t visit again. Shame.

A really cute pancake place. Food and drinks were lovely, only thing I would comment on is the customer service. Whilst it wasn't necessarily awful or overly rude, it just didn't feel very welcoming. Other than it it's great.

I can’t wait to return to have another raspberry and white chocolate pancake! The service was quick and friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. Thank you!

The reviews were positive but I was let down by a flavourless egg and salmon savory pancake that had barely a single bite of salmon. My husband greatly enjoyed his much more generously portioned Biscoff Baby pancake. The staff and rooms were all lovely, and I really wanted to enjoy it.Through no fault of the staff's there was a disquieting silence on the upstairs floor and all parties were treated to one woman's loud one-sided conversation for the duration.

Visited whilst on a weekend away to Stowmarket. The food was nice and the kids loved it. Service was very odd though. The waitress literally sighed and rolled her eyes when we walked in (family of 4 with two young children) even though they were empty and it was 2 hours before closing. She became impatient with me when I misheard her asking if we wanted the children's menu and threw the menu at the table. Then gave us no longer than a minute to look at the menu/read it to our children before getting impatient for our order. She then warmed up and was very polite for the rest of our visit so we chalked it off to her maybe having a bad day. Next day we went back and they were busy, same waitress. She didn't want us to push 2 small tables together (even though this would have actually given her more space to move around us) so we sat on adjacent tables, fine. Again impatient with us ordering and seemed annoyed by our presence. I must add the children were being very well behaved (for once 🤣) and we made sure to clear up after them, so her mood wasn't in response to us being a nuisance. She got one of the children's orders wrong (lemon instead of ice cream with their pancake), which we were understanding about and were happy to wait for it to be changed. But she made a big show of saying "well I've written down lemon" making out like it was just that we'd changed our minds, and repeated this several times. I eventually had to say I wouldn't have ordered lemon for my daughter and she again made a show of saying "it's not a problem darling,we can change it for you if you like" but did not apologise and again made me feel like it was somehow my fault. The rest of the visit she was very polite, as though over compensating for being rude, calling us darling and sir with everything she said. However, it seemed very false and almost like she was saying it through gritted teeth. Very strange and not what we were expecting given the great reviews about service so maybe it was just an off day/s!

Excellent place for breakfast. Very good service. Nice decoration. The pancakes with bacon and syrup and the milkshake were superb. Will definitely return.

Decided to try Petite Pancakes today and thought it was outstanding. The decor lends itself to the feel of a tea room, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.I didn't think so many options would be available with a pancake theme, but I was proven wrong. There is a superb choice of both sweet and savoury pancake fillings, I went with salmon and cream cheese and was not disappointed. If you have any intolerances or dietary needs they cater for gluten free, dairy free, vegan, keto etc, and they take it seriously with labels for allergy dishes stuck on the plate or written on the napkin of drinks so you know you and not being served something mistakenly. The selection of teas on offer was superb and with the option of sizes from a cup to a 3 cup pot which for us tea drinkers is a rare thing to see nowdays and something I think is often overlooked. The food was delicious, well presented and arrived quickly despite it being busy, it was sensibly priced for the size and quality, as were the drinks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place or go back again myself. This is the kind of business that Stowmarket needs to bring itself up in the world, the owners should be proud and the locals should support it instead of of Costa or Gregg's.

We absolutely love petite pancakes!! The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The whole experience of eating here is made extra special by the lovely decor and the charming enthusiasm of those who work here. Whilst browsing the menu, I was already looking at what I want to try next time and we cannot wait to go back next time we are in Stowmarket.

Our visit here was absolutely fabulous!! The customer service was excellent, the upstairs is cozy and the food was delicious. I had the ginger biscuit shake and pouch of pulled pork pancake and both were amazing! Highly recommend

Lovely little find! Service was brilliant and we had everything explained to us.Would recommend the seating upstairs as this is more quiet. Great pancake selection that offers sweet or savoury in varied sizes, so if you are more hungry you can go for a bigger stack. Huge flavoured tea selection too.
