Prezzo Stowmarket in Mid Suffolk

Lovely restaurant, excellent service and can't fault the food either.

Our starter was forgotten about which is why it took so long to arrive. They gave us all the food at once which obviously we couldn’t eat it at the same time as well as it going cold. We were not asked if we wanted anymore drinks although they had been empty for sometime as well as checking if everything was ok! The bill took ages too arrive. Very disappointed as well as the food not being very hot

Really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food was very good. We were not hurried along, even though we were the last people there, it was very clean and had a welcoming ambience. Would definitely return.

Plastic Italian, food is OK but not for the price. The food comes out quickly so microwaved or thrown in to hot water in a bag. Pizza is nice. Lobster ravioli is in a very sickly sauce.

We usually enjoy a family meal at Prezzo but it has gone down hill here since last year. Gone are the attentive staff, instead the current staff stand behind the bar chatting amongst themselves while you are waiting to order. Skipped desserts and had to ask for the bill tonight as fed up of waiting.Shame as it used to be great value for money.

We decided to head to this Prezzo as we learnt it had outside dining, which we thought was excellent on a nice hot sunny day,. After reading the reviews on Google , TripAdvisor and other places I was about wary but thought I would give it a go. On arrival we were faced with an entire empty restaurant, being the only customers we had a choice of any table outside, which to my horror was all undercover and no sun, I'm vegetarian so the only pizza I could eat was a margarita as I don't eat mushrooms which was the other choice. The whole place was empty from start to finish, we were freezing eating outside in the shade with no sun, despite it being sunny blue skies and 17 degree. The staff was non existent from taking our order to brilliant our the bill. Can honestly say it was the worst pizza we have ever eaten , sorry but we will not return.

Usually use the Bury St Edmunds Prezzo but thought I’d try the Stowmarket branch. First impression put me right off. Someone, who looked to be the manager, saw us standing by the entrance waiting to be invited in, however he decided to not acknowledge us at all, no eye contact but clearly knew we were standing there. Walked passed us at least 4 times without so much as a “I’ll be with you in a moment”. Bad customer service right there. Puts you on the back foot straight away! Food wasn’t bad but service not great.

Popped in on the off chance before going to the cinema. Staff sorted out a table for us as we hadnt booked. All very pleasant. Nice meal with wine. Service was excellent as was the meal. Pasta etc. Highly recommend it.

High praise to the staff for their in- depth knowledge of gluten- free products - very adaptable. A child- friendly restaurant, popular with young families just after the end of the school day.
