Queen's Head in Mid Suffolk

Extremely rude owner, lovely waitresses. Beef very rare and couldn't cut or eat, but chicken and pork and all the trimmings Amazing. Lots of it and delicious and hot. Very busy and as a large party service was a little slow but nice relaxing space.

Went for mother's Day, absolutely fantastic, great food! Big portions lovely staff! This place is an absolute Gem and as it's Dog friendly that is always a bonus!

Wanted pub grub , buts it's a pub for Italian food ! Not my thing so left .. We were placed at a table for a while and forgotten about which was poor as it wasn't busy ! Has to ask to be served even just for drinks ....

We booked for lunchtime on a Wednesday and will definitely return as the food and the welcome we received was fabulous. Bonus having a lovely couple of pub pooches to make a fuss of after lunch. Lovely old characterful building. Nice bit of ambient music and interesting ornaments. I also love a few fairy lights so wasn't disappointed. Something for everyone here I think.

Really good food, big portions and decent price. Would recommend a better menu - a paper printout with no specific layout can make it difficult to understand what’s on offer, but once deciphered, well worth it.

Sublime discovery yesterday. What a great centre of hostelry hospitality. By chance I hit their beer fest and got my favourite Victoria too. Delicious food and original salads outside from their stunning servery. Cheeky Chef/Owner Lee? completes the fun. Back soonest!

My husband enjoyed this pub so much he said it's the "best pub he's ever been to!" Great choice of beers, fantastic ambiance, and the food was amazing (and very reasonably priced for the quality). The staff were polite, helpful and upbeat and it was full of well behaved dogs, especially the resident big black dog who was so relaxed and calm. Can't wait to come back again.
